Chapter 7 - black dots

Throwing the unicorn plushie at Barachiel caught it, then looked at me with a raised eyebrow.

"We should get going. I still got to get out of here. Remember." I say with some annoyance. 

After standing up we carried on our way. Until we found the way out of this place? I still have questions about the "experiment" but I would have to ask them later. For now, we need to keep going. 

I kept using the ladders and ropes and my pink petals, Barachiel following closely near my right side. We make it up halfway. Until we are stopped by black glop.  It was covering some of the walls and ladders. Somehow as we went further up the more black flops there were. Eventually, we went to an open area close to the top of the tower.

Finally, I thought.

As we were going to keep moving onwards. Barachiel seemed to get pushed back by something. We first thought that what was in front of us was a dark area, but we were wrong. Figuring it was safe, we kept moving.

But we were sorely mistaken. As we tried to get closer to the back wall. We ended up hit into something.

Barachiel used his spear to light up the area. This huge black gloppy creature is standing in front of us. I used my shape-shifting ability and he used lighting spears. We got ready to fight.

With a roar, the black glop thing attacked, making tendrils come out of its body and swinging them frantically towards us. I used the petals to make a barrier to keep Barachiel safe. He used his spears to injure the creature. But it had no effect. It would just grow back. It kept attacking. My breathing quickened as I was trying to block all of its attacks, while Barachiel tried to weaken the thing. I could feel my heart beating. I could feel the violations in my throat like my heart would collapse out of my mouth if I didn't keep my mouth shut. A million ideas popped into my head but I didn't know which one would work. Which one would keep us safe. I had to think of something. Anything.
