Because of GSAT results school ended quite early today so I saved my lunch money to buy sweetie at ms june stall at my school gate. As I'm walking through the school gates I ran right into cute face shawnie immediate heart eyes until I see him all hugged up on this upper class girl well bleach out n mi nah go lie she cute. Instantly mi body get hot cause I know she ready fi man unlike myself that's childish, as I get my candy from ms june I walk pass him n cut mi eye. Him grab mi hand n pull mi to him "yow yuh nuh see man?" If mi neva so black mi face woulda pink cause fr. " mi see ya chat to yuh woman dem mi nah come nuff up mi self" I replied. He laughed and hugged mi tighter "yuh kno a u a mi woman no gyal to yuh enuh mami" the warmness I felt in my body was unimaginable. We started walking through the track to get home he held my hand the whole walk home he didn't even say bye to the upper class girl he was talking to that once again made me feel all the feels "look pon mi bout mi have man Weh all about me" I thought to myself. he stopped at the end of my lane and gave me the sweetest kiss on my cheek it was so close to my lips that it caught the side of my lip. I giggled softly because it was my very first kiss and it was unexpected.
"Ahrite later mi gyal gwaan walk go dung d lane deh yaso a watch yuh" shawnie says to me. I nod and started walking by myself the rest of the way to my house, as soon as I walked through the gate I see my Aunty in the yard hanging clothes on the line " good evening Aunty" I said as I walked pass into my house. "Come here licckle girl so how yuh nuh tell mi Weh yuh pass fa?". "Jose marti mi pass fa mi neva come tell unuh cause tru school over early man" "gwaan mi niece" she replies while smiling that big broad ugly smile with her two gold teeth in the front. " mi seh one woman mouth nuffi broad so" I said in my head laughing to myself. As I walked in the house my big sister was home doing nothing per usual "big waste gyal" I thought . "Evening my girl" mi seh n walk pass to my shared room, as I start taking my uniform off she comes in smiling asking me the same question I've been answering since I left school " mi pass fi Jose lawd god unuh ago mek mi tlk it inna mi sleep" I yelled not for anything more than mi is just a ignorant licckle gyal inna miself. I have a short temper and everybody who knows my mommy know not only do I look like her I am also a rebel just like mi stay good mada.
