Lucky Star is Born

Flash Sentry was waiting impatiently with the mane 6 in the hospital waiting room. Twilight was pregnant and was about to give birth. Flash felt like he was waiting for hours. Suddenly the doctor appeared and said that he could go see Twilight now.

Twilight saw Flash in the doorway and softly said," Hello Flash, come in. He won't bite."

Flash came closer and a smile appeared on his face as he looked down at his new son. The little colt was blue with tan hair and tail with a blue and purple stripe , but when he turned around. Twilight and Flash noticed that he was a Pegasus with cute, little, blue wings.

Flash looked at his wife and said," what should we name him?"

Twilight smiled and nuzzled him," I was thinking about Lucky Star."

Flash nuzzled her back and told her," I think it's a fine name."

The mane 6 came in the room and they all wanted to see the new prince.

"Aww look at the little darling." Rarity said as she smiled.

" Wait until he gets those little wings going!" Rainbow Dash explained with excitement.

Pinkie Pie cried loudly," It's your birthday, Young Prince! We need to Party!"

Applejack and Fluttershy both said at the same time."He is just so cute!"

But then the doctor came in and told everyone," ok everyone, the princess and young prince need their rest now."

Everyone left the room except for Flash who put Lucky Star in his little bed and he laid himself on the couch next to Twilight's hospital bed. Flash later got up as Twilight was asleep and looked down at his sleeping son.

"I never thought I could be more proud in my life than I do right now." Flash said to himself. "I know your going to do something great, I can feel it,son."

Twilight had one eye open and was watching everything. She smiled and fell back asleep and Flash went to bed too. The next morning came quickly and Twilight and Flash were both so happy to be parents. They both left the hospital and went back to Canterlot. Twilight was holding Lucky Star in her hooves and showed him the castle.

"Welcome home, my son." Twilight smiled as she held her son.

Twilight and Flash both walked into the baby's new room and put him down so that he could play with his new toys and explore his new home. After three months of exploring his new home, Lucky Star was happiest when his friend,Puffball came to play. Puffball was the son of Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich . He had a pink and brown mane and tail,he also had a orange-yellow colored coat,and he also had his mother's puffy mane and he had dark green eyes. Puffball and Lucky Star would spend hours playing together and they both enjoyed playing with the blocks.

"Puffball!" Pinkie said as she walked into the young prince's room. "The sun is going down,we need to go home." She picked up her son and Puffball waved goodbye to his friend who waved back.

"Lucky Star!" Princess Twilight called," it's bath day." She took the baby prince to a baby tub and she began to scrub him gently.

When Lucky Star was all clean, Twilight took him back to his room and began to rock him to sleep. The little blue Pegasus soon closed his eyes and snuggled up against his mother. Princess Twilight felt like the luckiest mother in the world and put her baby in his baby bed and tucked him in.

"Twi—!" Flash started to say.

"Shhhh!" Twilight said as she gestured to the baby.

"—light." He finished quietly. Flash saw their son asleep,"sorry." He said softly. "I just wanted to tell you that the guards have nothing unusual to report." He whispered.

Twilight and Flash went to their bedroom and began getting ready for bed. Twilight took off her crown and shoes and Flash took off his guard armor. Then Twilight fell straight on the bed.

"Sweetie, you ok?" Flash asked his wife.

"Yeah,it's just being princess is stressful, and now it's not easy juggling to be a mother either. My back and hooves hurt." Twilight said.

Flash felt bad and started to massage Twilight's back like a considerate husband would do. "I think you're doing just a perfect job at being princess and mother."

"Thanks honey." A relaxed Twilight said.

Then they both went to bed with smiles on their faces.
