I sighed in defeat as I was about to put my hand on the sensor. I could feel my breath going heavier and heavier. Just then, the door opened by itself, revealing a green haired boy who was also coming out of the office. "Hey there. You must be the new girl... Our only girl, I mean, "he scratched his head. I nodded, biting my lips. " Welcome to Future Bosses, "he grinned.
" Oh, I betcha gonna love it here, Blos... And you are gonna take good care of my sister, right?" BC put her arm around my neck. "Of he will, BC... And I love your hair colour, " Bubs squealed. "Of course I will. It's my duty as the principal's son after all. Oh, my hair... I just like it this way. Thanks for the complement, " he scratched his nose.
"Oh, you're Jake Johnson. I've heard a lot about you from the Principal. I trust that you're gonna make my daughter feel at home, " Mom smiled. He grinned with a nod. I just stood there like a dumb person.... Unable to speak.
Jake gazed at me with a smile. "Blossom, right? " he mouthed. I nodded shyly. "The principal isn't busy right now and is expecting you. I'll be leaving you now. See ya later, " he waved at us and walked away.
I gave a sigh of relief as some as he was gone. "And the principal's a male too? " I pouted. "Of course, Blossom. What else did you expect? " BC rolled her eyes playfully. I shivered a bit. "This is bad... " I sweat dropped. "He's soo cute... I wish I was a teenager again, " Bubs sighed.
We all entered the building. I was stunned by the elegance of the room we approached.( I won't describe it though 'cause I suck😅) A receptionist sat at the corner, busily typing on his computer. I saw a door with a poster that read "YOUR PRINCIPAL". I slowly walked the receptionist with the others trailing behind me. The guy seemed to have noticed and smiled warmly as we approached him.
" Good day,Anthony "Mom greeted. " Good day, Mrs. Utoniom. The principal is in there. He said he'd like to see you and your family as soon as you get here, "he said to mom. " Okay, Anthony. Thanks for the info. We'll go in then, "Mom said, placing her hands on my shoulder. He smiled with a nod.
We walked to door and it opened automatically. We entered the office. It was damn large, with book shelves and cupboards filling half of it. I looked at the chair at the table. Someone was seated in it with the back of the chair facing us. It was the principal for sure. You wouldn't like to know the speed of my heartbeat. I kept bitting my lower lip as I fidgetted with my palms.
Bubs and BC gave me assuring smiles. " It's alright...Just hang in there.You can do this, "they seemed to be saying. I smiled back as I seemed to calm down slowly. We all took our seats at the table. " Johnson... We've arrived, "mom called out to the principal playfully .
