Edrics POV:

I was walking down the halls with Emira, my twin sister, by my side as we talked. "Cmon Em! Snow can't taste that bad it's just frozen water!" I complained as I tugged at her arm
"No Ed, it has bacteria and you'll end up sick! I'm surprised your not always sick with everything you try to eat and chase" Emira sighed "your just like dad I swear" I gasped and put a hand above my heart dramatically "how dare! I feel hurt by your words Em!" I pouted and walked ahead to my locker, after a good 5 minutes of it being stubborn and refusing to open it finally opened, I shoved my stuff inside and felt as if I was being watched. I spun around, the hallway was quite empty "oh titan im late-" I slam my locker shut and began running to my illusions class, hopefully I won't get put in detention.

Once I arrive at the door I feel someone tap my shoulder, I turned around expecting it to be Em or Mittens but there was a taller boy I hadn't seen before standing there, I gave him a confused look. He seemed as if he was going to say something before muttering a sorry and running away, nervously I think? I shrug it off and just strut into my class a good 10 minutes late, while getting nagged at by my teacher who I honestly don't know the name of, why learn names of people I don't listen to anyways so I just sat down and stared out the window. My mind trailed back to that boy, I wonder who is he and what did he want with me? I think I've seen him around before but never really paid attention to him (sat here for a good 5 minutes tryna figure out if it's paid or payed) Ugh I can't focus now that I'm curious what he wanted, we have lunch next so I'll see if I can find him then I think he's friends with viney? My sisters girlfriend. Lucky, she can pull bitches.

Skip to lunch

I walked into the cafeteria, I went over and got some food andddd some apple blood, I scanned the room and my eyes landed on viney and her small group. I saw the boy sitting there, and Emira, it might be weird to go just for him so I'll say I didn't have anyone to sit with so I just went to Emira yeah I'll do that! I strut my stuff as I walk to the table "Hey em! Helloooo viney" I smile and wave at the two, Emira sighed "hey ed- what do you want" viney simply waved back "wow can't I come sit with my own sister, plus I ain't got anyone to sit with-" I said awkwardly, I wasn't lying though, suddenly I heard viney chuckle at the boy from earlier, I'm confused since he hadn't said anything funny but once again I shrug it off as them being weird and go sit next to Emira and Infront of the boy so I can see what he looks like better cause honestly last time I didn't really see his face since he dashed off. I pretended to listen to Viney as I snook glances at the boy, Emira must have saw this because she nudged me quite hard "hey! Why don't you two introduce yourselves to eachother" she said to us both, I glare at her and she had a wide smirk plastered onto her face and I cleared my throat "I'm Edric blight, nice to meet ya" I held my arm out for a handshake and it took a moment until the boy finally grabbed my hand and spoke "My name is Jerbo [whatever idfk] nice to meet you too Edric" he gulped, I saw the tips of his ears and his cheeks tint red, must be shy.

I begin chugging my apple blood as Emira grabbed it and squeezed it so it all went down my throat at once, I coughed "Em are you trying to kill me!" The group laughed at me being very dramatic as I pretend to faint, gaining attention from other tables which I ignored "How rude of youuu I'll tell mum!" I complain with a small grin "psh, like mum would care!" She said back to me, she had a point, I sat up straight and began eating with a big frown "also Ed you really need to get some friends- I don't think I ever see you with anyone but me and Mittens" Emira chuckled "I'm trying! Friends don't come to everyone thank you very much" I huff as shove a big bite of food into my mouth I hear Jerbo chuckle as I did this "see Jerbos laughing ,already made a friend so HA." Emira rolls her eyes at me and turns away "bitch" I mumble. She snapped back around like a hawk "EXCUSE ME?!- EDRIC ALDER BLIGHT." She yelled, now drawing attention from pretty much the entire lunch room
