As the teacher explained and handed different maps to every group, you didn't pay attention much, Tanjiro led because he was the best with directions and the least to get the group lost, even if he did, he could smell the way back/out, each group were at different forests, while walking you all avoided the edges, just when the others thought it was over you suddenly got shoved from your side, you turned to your side... to see... nobody was there, you saw a flash of your old friend, your eyes widened before falling down, Muichiro immediately noticed this and tried to grab onto your hand or anything but it was too late, you had already fallen, Muichiro immediately started running down the mountain, he didn't even let the others react, Kanao, Nezuko, and Aoi immediately started following Muichiro too, and then Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke followed soon after 'Muichiro-san has never been like this, she is important to him, I could smell the fear on him when Y/n-san fell, so with Nezuko, Aoi-san, and Kanao-san...' Tanjiro thought while running not far behind from the girls, he could smell the fear, sadness, and pain coming from the people in front of him, even from the back too, Inosuke wouldn't admit the fact that he was fearing that Y/n would die or that she even did die. 

'No, no, no... Fuck, Y/n please be okay...' Muichiro started to run faster than before.

'Y/n if you die, I won't forgive you...' Nezuko thought as tears started forming in her eyes, it was about 8 ft down was why they all thought you'd die, they could only pray for the best. 

'Y/n please no, you were one of the best people I could've asked for, you were there for me for anything, even at my worst times, so was Nezuko too, please I can't afford to lose you...' Kanao thought, trying her best not to cry, Kanao thought about all the moments you both shared together.

'Y/n I remember all the times we shared, who will even be there for me to even hang out or watch movies, I enjoy the fact that you stop by just to help me cook and clean, but I wish we could've done those things together instead of you doing all the work...' Aoi recalled thinking of all those moments you both shared.

'M/n or whatever your name is... I enjoy all the food you cook for me even though Koi-chan's is better {he only likes it because he likes Aoi} just don't die or whatever it's called just hang on until we come' Inosuke thought, not daring to let his tears seep out of his eyes.

'Y/n-chan you've always helped me with things I couldn't understand, and you'd even help me still even if I failed, I know you don't mean it with your harsh words though, I'm grateful for everything you've done for me but now it's my turn to help you, so please... hang on a little longer we're almost there...' Zenitsu felt tears running down his cheeks.

'Please don't die, hang on for a little longer, I'm coming Y/n, please, I love you, I don't want to lose you too, I've already lost my parents, I only have my brother left, you, and this group, so please, even if you're on the verge of death please don't die yet...' Muichiro continued to runway faster in his life than he ever had, he could feel the same hot tears he felt running down his cheeks when his parents died, it felt like a waterfall 'Screw it, I love you too much for you to die, I will sacrifice my life, I will gladly do it no matter the cost, I promise I will protect you, just like how I promised that day I would...' Muichiro then jumped down it was 4 ft, the others screamed his name as he jumped "GAH! MUICHIRO NO IT'S TOO HIGH! YOU'LL DIE!" Tanjiro screamed as Muichiro looked at and stared at him before giving a small smile that was barely noticeable "I'm sorry, I promised that I will protect her with all my life, even if I die, no matter the cost" that was the last word they heard from Muichiro before he was out of sight from falling "WE HAVE TO HURRY UP! Y/N-SAN AND MUICHIRO COULD BE DEAD BY NOW!" Tanjiro ordered, while continuing to run, he was scared for you and Muichiro, the girls were running faster than ever, remembering that, that was the same look you gave when you fell, I small smile when you saw your old friend, while also shocked too that you had suddenly fallen.
