'Seriously I hate school, at least this isn't as bad as my last school... but still, there's like a fuckboy group inside of school, it gives me nostalgia...' you sighed while grabbing your bag, you also grabbed the butterfly clip you had received from the butterfly sisters yesterday, they had insisted on giving it to you and you decided not to refuse it, they had sought of you as a sister and they had decided to give it to you as a birthday gift, it was f/c colored on the outside and o/f/c [other favorite color, if you have one] on the inside, you smiled while looking at it before putting it on, afterwards you headed downstairs and there you found Obanai already eating pancakes "There you are, also isn't that one of the Kocho butterfly hair clips?" he asked you, you nodded in response while taking a bite of the pancakes. "Yeah, they had given it to me as a birthday gift yesterday" you explained with a small smile, he nodded in response.

"Is that so? well, I'm glad I guess..." he muttered, he wouldn't admit that he was actually happy even if you knew that well enough, you were indeed very close to them, they treated you like family and would occasionally shower you with gifts even if you tried to refuse, they were just as stubborn as you but you did accept it all in the end. "Oh yeah I got this for you yesterday..." Obanai whispered which caught your attention, he pulled out a cage that had a black cloth over it "Since last night was an interesting one, I decided that I would give it to you in the morning" Obanai explained, you could hear movement under the cloth which slightly confused you.

"You could take off the cloth you know" Obanai said, you made an 'oh' sound and he chuckled, you took off the cloth and gasped. it was an albino snake with c/f/c eyes (color of choice) "I LOVE IT OBI-NII, ARIGATOU!" you shouted out of pure joy, this was one of the first times you had ever shouted, he was surprised by your loudness but smiled afterwards, due to seeing how happy you were, he looked at your scar that was covered by foundation, he sighed. "Foundation will make it look worse..." Obanai whispered to himself, but you couldn't really hear him because you were busy thinking of a name for your snake, he looked at you once more before smiling and standing up. "I'm going to walk with Mitsuri today if that's alright, after school too since me and her have a date" Obanai looked at you, while you looked back at him, smiling "That's alright, I was about to tell you that I'm walking with Mui-kun after school, and I have a date with him later too!" you beamed, while Obanai slightly choked on air. "That kelp head...?" he whispered to himself, but you still heard it and pouted "Oi, oi!" you muttered before hearing the bell at the door.

[Meanwhile outside]

Muichiro walked to your house, while walking he had seen Mitsuri across the street. 'Weird... I thought she would be going to school by now...' Muichiro thought, staring at Mitsuri, but continued to walk soon after, that's when Mitsuri noticed him, she ran across the street, smiling while waving at him. "Kon'nichiwa Muichiro-kun! what brings you to this street?" she asked, walking with the shorter boy, he kept silent before opening his mouth to speak. "I'm going to pick up N/n-chan from her house to walk with her to school..." Muichiro explained, he could see Mitsuri trying her best not to squeal out of the corner of his eye "What brings you here too, you'd normally be at school by now..." Muichiro asked, still looking at the path in front of him, Mitsuri blushed "A-Ah! well, it's a similar reason like yours, I'm going to the serpent/ice estate to go walk with Obanai-kun to school!" Mitsuri explained, her face turning redder than before, Muichiro just nodded and continued to walk with Mitsuri to your estate, after reaching the estate they rang the doorbell to your house and waited for a bit.

[Meanwhile inside]

You ran to the door before Obanai could react, he stared at the now empty seat and dead panned before walking to the door too. "Ah! Hi Mitsuri-chan, Mui-kun" you beamed, while Muichiro smiled back, before Mitsuri had suddenly noticed that snake wrapped around your neck. "Y/n-chan, isn't that Obanai-kun's snake? it looks a little different..." Mitsuri commented, squinting her eyes while examining your snake. "Oh, you mean S/n? it's not Obi-nii's snake, he had bought me one yesterday and sought to give it to me today" you explained, patting your snake, while Mitsuri's mouth turned into an 'o' shaped. "KYAAA! IT'S SO CUTE THOUGH! IT LOOKS LIKE KABURAMARU'S TWIN!" Mitsuri squealed, staring at it with sparkles in her eyes, you were hesitant but seeing how she was so happy and that it looked like she was dying to pet it, you looked at your snake and saw that it liked her, so you gave in on your proposal. "You could pet them if you want..." you proposed, and you saw her smile brighter than earlier. "KYAAA ARIGATOU Y/N-CHAN!" she thanked you before petting it.

After she had finished her petting session, she had noticed Obanai standing behind you "Ohayo Obanai-kun!" she greeted Obanai while blushing, he lightly blushed too, before glaring at Muichiro, you lightly smiled before Mitsuri spoke. "Anyway, we're taking our leave now, let's go Obanai-kun!" Mitsuri squealed, already dragging him away, he waved at you before they were fully out of sight, Muichiro lightly chuckled which caught you off guard. "Well then, we should take our leave now too, we might be late if we arrive later than now" he spoke in a soft voice, you nodded and walked side-by-side with him, you decided to make the first move for the day, you grabbed his hand and intertwined it with yours, it was clear that you had caught him off guard when you heard him say 'uh' but he didn't bother to remove it nor freak out, instead he squeezed your hand in return, it wasn't rough, it was a light and soft squeeze, his hand was always warmer than yours which confused you but you ended up going with it as you didn't care.

Obanai's Pov:

Mitsuri had decided to leave earlier than them so we would be able to stalk them, I went along with it because I needed to make sure that Y/n was alright, after we saw them, we followed them not far behind, I saw Y/n grab his hand and intertwined it with hers I curled my fist into a ball, I sought to step in but I knew Mitsuri would get mad, I knew that she was upset when she saw it, I feel bad for making her upset and I know Y/n is happy with him, I sighed and put my curled fist down and uncurled it, I saw Mitsuri smile, her smile was everything, I would do anything for her. "Arigatou Obanai-kun for stopping yourself from interfering with their young love!" she whispered in my ear and hugged me, she was warmer than me, I was always cold, I never knew why, until I had found Mitsuri, she is my everything and my sun, Mitsuri and my sister had taken me from those shadows that I hid in, I'd do anything for them, just to see them happy... even if it means I would have to kill myself. I know they wouldn't wish that upon me but even if they did I would, all for their sake.

"Um Obanai-kun are you alright? you spaced out and your sort of red, also we need to catch up to them!" I snapped out of my thoughts hearing her angelic voice, I nodded in response. "I'm alright" I simply responded and held her hand, continuing to follow them until we reached school, I could see that Mitsuri was blushing, and I picked her up bridal style so we could catch up faster, I saw that her whole entire face was red at that point, like a tomato, I lightly chuckled before continuing to run. "A-Are you sure you can carry me... I-I mean with how much I e-eat I'm sure I'm fat and h-heavy, why are you even dating me...? I eat a lot and I'm a f-female, people say that I should be ashamed because nobody would date me because I eat too much..." she spoke, her voice cracked a bit, it pained and angered me hearing that, I stopped dead in my tracks and looked at her, which confused her.

"If anyone ever says that again I'll make sure I'll kill them, I don't feel ashamed when I'm with you, I don't care if you eat a lot, I love you no matter what, and if they don't love you for who you are, tell them to shut the fuck up and go fuck themselves and that they're players" I reassured her, I saw that smile I loved again, and she laughed "A-Arigatou Obanai-kun... you're the best boyfriend I could ever ask for, I love you too" she thanked me and kissed me, I was surprised and shocked and melted into the kiss, after we parted our lips we heard a voice, a very familiar one, the voice that I had always known and heard every day. "Now I can finally hang up a picture of the two of you" Y/n smirked, showing the camera to us, we blushed, and I set Mitsuri lightly down. "GET BACK HERE Y/N!" I yelled and chased after her.
