The rush and hustle hadn't stopped even though it was nearly sundown, uncle Muhammad had insisted we rest before going out and we all agreed so here we are now, all freshened up and ready to have a bit of fun.
I had changed into a dusty rose tunic with blue jeans, tekkies and a rose hijab for the night, Aisha was wearing similar clothes except in black and blue.

"Craft shop first and than we can go wherever you kids want." Aunty Fayzah says.
Aisha pokes her tongue out to her brother who was on the other window, I still have no idea how us four fit in the back but here we are.

"Uncle Muhammad, can we go to the fair after the craft shop?" Imran asks.

"Well I don't see why not, we can go to the mall tomorrow than." Uncle Muhammad replies.

"They still have the fair?" I ask flabbergasted.

Aisha nods. "It's actually been a while since we've been as well." Her eyes beam with excitement.
A few minutes later we arrive at what I guess is the craft shop, Zayaan barely waits a second before he's quickly jumping out of the car.

"This boy and his paintings." Aunty Fayzah says with a smile on her thin red lips, uncle Muhammad nods along with his wife and kisses the side if her head and than we're all following behind Zayaan.

An hour later we were all groaning from boredom, apparently Zayaan in a craft shop is like a reader at a bookshop or just generally women in clothes shop, Aisha and him have fought 3 times in the shop over the fact that he takes too long and we want to go the fair but with Uncle Muhammad saying that the fair is better at night, Aisha lost the argument.

But despite all the drama we all got ourselves a little bit of craft work, Aisha took some beads and strings claiming she needs to make friendship bracelets for us, Imran took a sketchbook and I took a few paints, some small canvases and a couple paintbrushes, might as well learn something new.

Once we were back in the car the excitement of the fair doubled and we were all now shaking with anticipation and joy which made the car ride feel impossibly long and after dreadful minutes of waiting we finally arrived, all of us at the back were out of the car before Uncle Muhammad could even switch off the car.

"Don't get lost and be careful!" Aunty Fayzah called out to us.

"Yes mom." Aisha replies and than we're half running inside, there were people walking around laughing, children ran everywhere, there was so much color, pink, orange, red, green, and quite literally all the colors you can think off, there were fairy lights hanging all around the place.

The fair wasn't like the normal one with rides and all that, yes it did have a couple rides and a few games with toys but it was mainly food stalls and clothes and everything else you want to buy, there's a few slides more towards the park and swings, it's a place where you get everything traditional and vintage.

"We have so many things to try." Imran exhales a soft laughter.

"Than we better get started." Zayaan says hanging his arm around my brother's shoulders.

A few hours later we were drained and decided to finally sit to eat, we ordered some tikka chicken skewers and some milkshakes, we chatted and laughed while enjoying the food.
Soon afterwards Uncle Muhammad and aunty Fayzah were joining our table.

"You kids ready to go home?" Uncle Muhammad asks.

Imran yawns and nods. "Definitely."
We finish eat and than we're on our way back home which thankfully was fast, we all take our bags and groggily make our way to the rooms, I'm sharing a room with Aish for these two nights here and Imran gets the guest bedroom.
