At the Bin's lab, Huey has reintroduced Gyro's old creation, 2-B0, aka BOYD, to the scientist after the robot boy started to malfunction. After a brief history, Gyro comes to a conclusion.

"There's only one place that has the equipment we'll need; my mentor's old lab." Gyro declares

"We're going to Tokyolk?!" Fenton asks.

Gyro points to Fenton. "You're not going, Gizmoduck is. We'll need him to protect us." He then looks towards BOYD. "From it."

"Aren't you overreacting? Look at him! He's a kid, like me! Just...wired a little differently. Besides, dozens of your inventions have tried to kill us, and you always say they're 'wildly misunderstood'!" Huey argues.

"I understand 2-BO all too well. Don't...get too close to it."

Then...

SLAM

The lab's sliding doors are suddenly kicked in, off their rails and across the lab, revealing an overexcited Rebecca. "YOU'RE GOING TO JAPAN?!"

"Wha- Purple Niece where did you come from?!" Gyro asks, startled.

"You mentioned a trip to Japan. That is my summoning ritual." She explains as if it is a reasonable explanation. "Anyways, I am GOING!"

"Purple niece, I don"t think you understand the situation. This is not some field trip. It is a serious-" Gyro tries to say, but is cut off.

"I'm a trained killer like Webby and know five hundred different ways to kill you with a toothpick. That is both a reason why to take me... and a threat." Rebecca effectively stares into Gyro's soul with a grin that says it all.

"Right!" Gyro says in full agreement suddenly. "Assistant Boone, you-"

"Cannot go because I have other matters to tend to." Ian says, looking at the broken doors. "I mean, someone has to watch the lab. Right?"

"Fair. You have full authority over the lab while we are gone. Manny! You now take orders from him until further notice."

Manny salutes.

"Alright! Let us hurry so we can get this, issue, fixed." As they start to leave.

"Bring me back some snacks and stuff!" Ian calls.

"Will do!" Rebecca says, waving goodbye as she shakes with excitement.

After some time, the group lands in Tokyolk, and as they leave the airport, it is apparent the effect the city had on the oldest quadruplet.

"EeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEE~!" Rebecca geeks out, having a Webby-styled joy overload.

"Hoo boy... Okay, sis, calm down." Huey tries to get her to, but it is too late, as she is soon running off down the street. "Aw phooey..."

"Purple Niece! Come back! We-" Gyro says, before groaning out. "Blathering blatherskite! If we could harness that girl's energy and enthusiasm we could solve the world's energy needs."

"I hope she'll be okay..." Fenton says, worried.

"Trust me, it isn't Rebecca we need to worry about..." Huey says, worried for the city itself.

...

Far ahead of the others, Rebecca runs from window to window of each shop, in awe. Her mind was racing. 'What to do first? What to buy? What to do next?' The girl was all by herself, and could do whatever she wanted. And thus, she would... so long as time permitted.

First, she decides to check out the latest in Japanese Kaiju cinema, watching several movies until nightfall before continuing on, oblivious of the chaos the others are causing.

...

After some time and come the next day, the girl is soon at a ramen restaurant, the same her brother and BOYD are at, the girl slurping up some noodles. She enjoyed the quick, cheap dish, but loved the real kind from where it originated. She had some bags from shopping, buying souvenirs and snacks for herself, as well as some for Ian. Today was going well, and after this lunch, she would continue her shopping spree.

As her quest to enjoy the city continues, the keeps ending up in the same places as her brother and BOYD, almost by sheer luck. Then again, they are going to the key parts of Tokyolk that define the city. After some time, she seems to separate from them, and thus continues on.

"Alright..." She looks at a checklist she made for in case she ever went to Japan, many thing son the Tokyolk part crossed out as done. "Next is... traditional tea!" She then heads to a tea shop that is nearby, as BOYD is turned evil by Dr. Akita, starting a massive fight between the boy robot and Gizmoduck.

...

Rebecca sits knelt as she enjoys some traditional Japanese tea with wagashi and senbei, listening to the ambient music completely relaxed as BOYD and Gizmoduck fight just outside behind her, the girl unaware of the battle. "Hmm, I wonder what the others are up to?" She sips some more tea as Gizmoduck gets sent across the street behind her.

...

Later, after the battle and reconciliation, the group has returned to the plane and are about to leave, when...

"Wait, where is Rebecca?" Huey points out.

"Oh, blathering blatherskite... Must she have run off and gotten los-" Gyro starts to complain, when the girl arrives via taxi.

She steps out and bows to the driver. "Arigatou gozaimasu." She thanks, the driver responding with 'Hai', before leaving. She had noticeably more stuff than when they arrived, mostly via a fully backpack.

"Uh, sis... you seem to have done well for yourself." Huey points out.

"I love this place..." She says with the biggest grin possible, holding a sort of box separate from the other stuff.

"Say uh, what is that?"

"It's a snack bento. Made it for Ian." Rebecca says as she steps into the plane, content with this trip.

"That is one strange child..." Gyro remarks.

"So, what all did you lot do?" She asks, completely unaware, the others sharing a look.
