Chapter 1: The Beginning Of The End

At the offices of: Kafdeco Games, located in Denver, Colorado Sits a lonely developer in his chair, typing away. Everyone else has practically left but he is overworking. Finishing a last copy to be sent off. The clock was ticking slowly. As the man worked.

Manny: Manny Markernot, Log Number 117, January 12th 1994, 11:37 PM. I'm finishing up the last copy for Kafdeco, they expect it to be done and shipped at near midnight. The whole team has been working on this since a week ago, they have been porting the finished game to other CD's. I on the other hand have been working for the secret and people might ask to add more secrets to more copies, but company ordered personally to have one secret for one in what..? 120 Million copies of this? So I'm sitting here typing away as I finish this last copy of the bunch up. This has been quite a challenging task for me and such I am uhh.. Sitting here. typing and typing, finishing what the company ordered and.. I'm soon abut to uhh.. Finish this and get her up and loaded on the truck. So this has been Manny Markernot. And.. I might record an another piece of audio soon. So yeah. Markernot Out.

Manny stopped the tape and continues typing away as the clock reached 11:49PM. As he finished he felt a bit cold since all of the other people have left but it was all gonna be worth it as he finished up, put the game in the CD and packaged her. and sent it off. Outside there was a giant snow storm as Manny packed the game box, took it down and went outside with a fat leather jacket.

Guard 1: Gee, Manny what the hell took you so long.
Manny: I know it took so long and such shit, but i was working overtime, company expected to get it delivered near midnight.
Guard 1: Manny, you are an imbecile. Thank god you were on time, if not we might have drove away.
Guard 2: I'll take this box and load it into the truck.
Manny: Alright, just take good care.
As the 2nd Guard loaded the box in the truck Manny and the 1st Guard talked.
Guard 1: Company really ordered you to do this right?
Manny: Yeah and this blizzard is not helping anyone!
Guard 1: Well you should not have worked overtime!
Manny: Company personally ordered to work overtime to finish porting and adding that secret!
Guard 1: You should go home, honestly!
Manny: I gotta do one thing!!

Manny aproached the truck and helped Guard 2 which was struggling with closing the door. Manny banged the truck twice
Manny: ALL GOOD!
Manny Screamed to the driver which drove away.
Guard 1: Just go home Manny. You need rest. We all do in fact..
Manny: Alright. I will go. Just, if i come in late then it's probably because of me oversleeping. Alright. Bye, you two!
Guard 2 waved to Manny but Guard 1 hits Guard 2's shoulder with his elbow
Guard 2: Oi! Why'd you do that?!
Guard 1: We are on a serious job! We cannot be mucking around!
While the two guards argued Manny got in his car and drove away.

Cut to tommorow, Or January 13th 1994 At 12:37PM In Tirnan Middle School, Kansas

Two teenagers Aged 15 are sitting on the desk and waiting for it to end. A teacher is talking.

Teacher: The Queen of Great Britain is Queen Elizabeth II, she has been through much but she is if not the most popular queen. And the next country in Europe is gonna be.. Turkey, Turkey stems from the Ottoman Empire and..
The Two Characters start whispering.
Vincent: Damn it, will this ever end..?
Thomas: We only got like.. 20 Minutes left..
Vincent: Yes, but it feels like 20 years to me.
Thomas: Don't worry it will end... Soon..
Vincent would then groan and put his head on the table.
Teacher: They have taken over Constantinople. But there was a incident which was reported today that two guards died from weird causes. One had their body split in half but the other was torn limb from limb.. Pretty gruesome might I add.
Thomas: You know, i do know a bit of disasters myself, Mr.
Teacher: Oh, you do? That is a bit too.. Might i say, Off?
Thomas: Yes, it's quite off. But i guess we all are different.
Teacher: Fair point. I am not gonna talk back. As i said this was..
The minutes go by slowly as Vincent waits for the sweet release of the bell. The teacher explains the countries history's and such and such. I guess he killed two birds with one stone. But then.. The bell rang.
Teacher: Alright so the homework is Pages 69 and 70.

As the students left especially Vincent, in the halls while Vincent puts his books in the locker. Thomas runs up to him in a hurry.

Thomas: Vinny! Wait. Thank god i got you when i had the chance!
Vincent: Thomas? Is there something you need?
Thomas: You put your books back and I have a surprise.
Vincent: A surprise? Wow, you really Surprised me!
Thomas: Was that a Dad Joke?
Vincent: Yes, and I am ashamed of it.

Vincent put his books back and both Vincent and Thomas went outside with jackets.
Thomas: I have been saving up all Year for this!
Thomas would pull out a copy of Snake.
Thomas: Ta-da!!
Vincent: Where did you get this from? Aren't these like expensive?
Thomas: As i said i saved up all year. I got an another copy at home Vinny!
Vincent: An another copy? Like when did you get this?
Thomas: On Christmas Man!
Vincent: But why did you get this?
Thomas: For our year anniversary! Dude!
Vincent: But, our One Year Friendship Anniversary isnt due for a week from now!
Thomas: Take it from me as an early present!
Vincent: Wow, Thomas. You really did all these lenghts to get a game? Thank you!
Vincent would hug Thomas and they would stop hugging.
Thomas: I mean no problem man. It is a gift from me.
Vincent: Welp we should go eh?
Thomas: Yeah, Your mom is probably worried sick.
Vincent: Alright Bye Thomas!
Thomas: Bye Vinny!

They both would ride away on their skateboards
Vincent's Mind: I can't wait to play this game!!
As Vincent got home Lucas would be watching news on the accident that happened in Turkey.
Vincent gets in the door and greets his family.
Lucas: Vincent! You are a bit early. What happened?
Vincent: Dad, The Chemistry teacher was sick. There were no substitutes and they let us go home early.
Lucas: It's the 3rd time this week! Whatever, Hold up what's this?
Lucas would take Snake from Vincent's hands and inspect.
Lucas: Who gave you this?! A drug dealer?!
Vincent: No, dad. Thomas gave me this.
Lucas: Well did he go to a bank and steal the money to buy this?!
Vincent: Dad, he saved up. Plus in a week is our One year friendship anniversary.
Lucas: It's whatever. Go get undressed from your coats and come eat Dinner.
Vincent: Ok dad!

Vincent would run to his room to get himself dressed for dinner.
