3rd POV
"That's.......Ichigo...... " Yuri said dumbfounded.
"Hmmhhhhmmm. He went like that shortly after you did." Orihime told Yuri.
"I have to stop him." Yuri said as I clutched my sword. From his Reiatsu, Yuri could tell that he was much more powerful than He was.
"Don't!" Orihime shouted while jumping forward and clutching his arm like it was her life line.
"Inoue. He's my cousin. Yuri have to." Yuri told her. She suddenly stopped. Orihime couldn't believe that Yuri had just called her Inoue. He usually called her Orihime.
Suddenly, Yuri jumped forward to face-off against the Vasto Lorde.
'Don't do it. He'll destroy you.' Yuri's inner hollow whispered in his head. As if on cue, his zanpakuto spirit answered back.
'Use it, Yuri.' She told the messy haired boy.
'Do I have to?' Yuri asked his zanpakuto's voice while cautiously looking back at Orihime.
'You don't want the girl to get hurt when you use it, do you?'
'I don't.'
'..........Let me out.' The inner hollow told the debating spirits.
'No.' Was Yuri's answer. 'You remember what happened last time, right?'
'I promise to not kill anyone. I just want to test the kin- the uhh..... Hollow inside of Ichigo.' She responded.
'ENNN OOHH. NO'
'*Pouts*'
Ichigo roared. The shockwave itself broke multiple pillars. Then, Ichigo spotted Yuri and Orihime.
'DO IT!' Yuri's zanpakuto shouted in his head.
In a rash moment, he did in fact use it.
"Bankai, rise and ascend from the flames, they creative flame. Asent Kogetsu!" Flames enveloped Yuri once more, but this time when the flames parted, Yuri wore a captain's Hayori. His ripped jeans were replaced with a shinigam's pants. His zanpakuto was now nothing but flames. Orihime looked on in awe. She noticed that on the shoulder of his Hayori was the number 14. Then, she looked at the flame that was previously Yuri's zanpakuto. It was moving. It was fluid almost. It was like it was..... Living.
When Yuri raised his hand, he acted as if he was holding a bow and arrow. Something jumped from Orihime's left and landed itself in Yuri's hand. It was the flame. Immediately, the flame morphed into the shape of a bow with an arrow already drawn.
"Inoue. When I pull this arrow, I'm going to try and stall him. In that time, you need to try and get him back into his senses. Got it?" Yuri asked, not taking his eyes off of the adversary.
Orihime nodded her head again, more paying attention to the fact that Yuri had called her Inoue instead of Orihime again.
Yuri once again faced his fearsome cousin.
"Blazing Rain." Yuri called as he released the arrow. Instead of one arrow, a full storm of arrows fired. Orihime took that as her signal.
"Kurosaki-Kun! Please stop!" She shouted. Ichigo wasn't responding. Instead, he was taking the arrows head on. Now moving at all. One of Yuri's arrows cracked the mask. On cue, Yuri stopped firing. The mask crumbled, leaving an unconscious Ichigo to fall. Aizen's voice began to explode from everywhere.
"Well done, Kursaki Yuri. You have defeated 2 of my espadas now. Very well done indeed. But, I must now move on with my plan. I will now be attacking Karakura Town. Do not bother trying to escape. I have sealed all of the gargantas on my leave. Also, Yuri. Yammy says he would like to fight you sometime in the near future." And with that, Aizen left.
"Inoue. He done yet?" Yuri asked Orihime who was healing Ichigo.
"Almost." Orihime said as she focused on healing Ichigo. Sweat beaded down her face due to the enormous amount of Reiatsu she was forcing into the force field of life. I noticed how much she cared about Ichigo. I clenched my fist.
Ichigo, you lucky bastard. Orihime loves you and yet, you don't even notice. Are you still in love with Kate?
