Aeri wasn't happy with herself. She was putting her stuff away in the yellow room and the only thing she could think about was how horrible this color felt to the eye. Shed gotten so used to the softness of the purples in the top three room that she had managed to forget that the rest of the rooms weren't as nice.

Her, who usually loved to bask in the yellow sunlight, was starting to hate the idea of a room wearing the same color as the giant fire ball. She missed the soothing colors of her old bed as well as the comfortable seats that rested near the beds. She didn't want to think about the fact that she'd never have the chance to sleep in it again.

All thirteen of the I-LANDERs had already divided the parts among themselves and without surprise, she was given the second part. They claimed it was to honor tradition. Heeseung was always first and she was always second.

For some reason, the prospect of being seen as second to Heeseung made her mad.

It wasn't that deep, she knew that. But she couldn't help the feeling of anger from rising within her chest. The two still hadn't talked since he abruptly left the individual practice room under her harsh demand.

She was in the wrong, Aeri knew that as much as she knew how stupid their argument had been. But still, she couldn't bring herself to go over to him and apologize. She was too proud.

She'd rather loose her energy in training than attempting to mend something for the pure fun of it. She didn't like being like this with Heeseung, but she had too much to loose to really think about it.

The performance wasn't the hardest one she'd had to do since the beginning of the show, but it was the last one. It was the only one who truly mattered in the end. And because of that, she knew there was no point in waisting time.

The end was near and she could tell that everyone knew. Despite their everlasting nature to crack jokes with each other, their shoulders slumped more, and their eyes were fiercer. They all knew that no matter what the outcome would be, they needed to do better than their best.

Her limbs were aching because of the strain she put on them but there was really nothing she could do about it apart from trying to ignore it. A few of the boys were starting to notice, though. Both Doobu and Sung Deuk could too.

Her lines of movement were messier and her footwork weaker, that's what they'd told her. She made easy movements look hard.

She wanted to practice all night to rectify the aim, but the pain in her left shoulder was starting to become too unbearable to continue. When she'd gone to bed that night, the two other beds were empty. She didn't know where Heeseung or Sunghoon were considering that at least one of them were usually in bed at this hour, but she didn't really linger.

In her shower, she sighed in relief when the warm water fell on her body. Her shoulder was still bothering her but the burning water made it easy to ignore. She stayed there until she got used to the feeling and the pain in her shoulder returned.

When she went back to her room, only one of the two bed was filled. Sunghoon was still nowhere to be seen but she was pretty sure se'd heard his laugh in the living room. Heeseung barely looked up from his book when she stepped in.

She sat on the edge of her bed for a moment, simply staring off into space. She didn't feel Heeseung's gaze on her when she rolled her shoulder back to relieve some of the pain.

They still hadn't spoken a word to each other when she got under the covers and laid down, her head propped on the headboard. They pretended not to throw glances in each other's way every now and then. It was hard to ignore each other when their bed were facing one another.
