I woke up in a room adorned in green and white. A cold clean scent wafted into my nose as I realized where I was. The pain in my back was gone. Another hologram popped up in front of me. -200 coin for medic visit. You are now in debt. The gold you earn up to the dedicated amount will not be credited to your bag. I wiped away the message and rolled my eyes. Getting up, I walked out to see where I was. I was still in the same town. I guess I have to play by the rules for now. I'll get my revenge on big tits later when I can show for it.

I made my way back to the store and opened the door again. Poe snarled and turned his nose up in my direction. I sighed. "Look you slimy rodent I need gold. That bitch that sent me to the hospital owes me compinsation."

He smirked. "I don't see you getting anything any time soon. Unless you play the game my way, You'll really be dead in the matter of a few short weeks."

"Okay asshat, what's your game."

"Three gold coin an hour. You help me run errands for my shop and do as I say and your pay will raise. Every time you make me angry your pay will be docked."

"Okay fine, I'll feed into this little game of yours, whats first?"

"I need some glowshrooms from the cave of the golden cross just south of here."

"That's it? What's the catch?"

He ignored my question and walked out from behind the counter, motioning to a wall of weapons. "Take your pick dog."

I inspected each item on the wall. "All the items are pieces of crap," I motioned to one. "An actual stick? What am I supposed to do with that?"

He crossed his arms. "You are lucky I'm being this kind to you. Choose from what I give you or go in there naked I don't care."

I grumbled and picked up a rusty, berally functional shortsword. Behind it was a small wooden sheild. "I guess This will work."

"Good, come back in three days, or die. Have a good time." He practically pushed me out the door, but he left me something.

I opened up the large crumpled paper to reveal a map. This is huge, How far does this thing go? I studied it for a moment before folding it, sliding it into my pocket. A message popped up in front of me. Quest accepted: Shroom Hunter

=====================================

I stepped onto the stone pathway on the way out of the town. According to the map, I had to head pretty far south, I grumbled to myself and started on the long path to nowhere. No more than five minuets later, I realized I had no food or water or potions. I pinched the bridge of my nose and sighed. I'll figure it out. I continued to walk down the path until it ended. It seemed like hours until there was nothing but wilderness in either direction. I checked the map again. I noticed something new, A blue dot with "You" under it just south of the town. The cave I needed to head to was still pretty far down and the sun was starting to set. I reached for my bag and rummaged through it, no phone. Sighing, I continued on. After what seemed like another hour, the sun had completely set, I heard a feint howl in the distance. Oh for the love of god wolves? Really? Do they turn into mystical men with no shirts too?

I readied the sword and the shield just in case of attack. I saw a pair of red eyes rush at me and I swung the sword down as hard as I could. I heard a small tone. miss I hoisted the shield as the wolf lunged at me, the shield crumbled from the hit. shield strength: 0 "Oh fuck off." I swung the sword again and felt it make contact. I smiled, but it quickly faded when the wolf lunged at me again, I swung once more, slicing the wolf from ear to ear. It crumpled and fell to the ground, the rest of the blood seeping into the floor. The smell made my stomach turn. Ack! I turned away. "That was kinda fun." I said out loud, chuckling to myself. The chuckle soon became an all out laugh as I examined the drying blood on the rusty sword. "This could be fun."

The sun peeked over the horizon as I let out a yawn. Checking the map, I could just barely see that I was close to the cave. I saw a light in the distance, upon further inspection it seemed to be a small cabin. New objective: Investigate the old barn

"Alright then, lets go." I made my way to the overgrowth closer to the front door. The cobblestone path had been worn away with time and the house smelled of wet wood and old cloth. I walked up to the door, which had no handle, and put my hand on it. The door fell foreword, practically splintering as it hit the floor. Strength: Level 1 "It's about time." I muttered to myself, stepping over the fallen door. The place was dark despite having a nearby window, but there was no furniture. I made my way into a large room, looking like a dining room, that was also empty. Right next to it was the kitchen, and this room wasn't empty, but did have a horrid smell. This is so stupid. I said as I walked towards the fridge, which seemed to be the source of the smell. I wrapped my hand around the handle, bracing myself for the amount of stench I was gonna have to deal with.

I cringed and my stomach flipped. Parts of a human, well into the advanced stages of decomposition were stored in different parts of it. A leg and an arm in the bottom drawers, fingers, toes, and eyeballs on one of the shelves, and sitting front and center was a decapatated head, almost degraded down to the bone. Brain matter leaked a black liquid from the eyes and nose. From the length of the thin string hair, I guessed it was a woman. I slammed the fridge shut, right about that time I heard a ding. New primary objective: RUN

I bolted out of the house and into the field. Ducking under a bush, I heard the feint sound of music, it sounded like a music box. I stayed hidden in hoped whatever this was would stop looking. Soon, the sound faded. I got up and took a quick look around, looking back at the cabin I saw one light on in what looked to be the kitchen, My gut wrenched and I once again started running.
