A guard and her princess

The rain is pouring

I was sitting out in the rain it's not like i didn't have a home, just wanted to get out of that hell hole, i was playing with a strand of my hair, i have a birthmark below my right eye with amber eyes and black hair and a rather petite face and beautiful hands but i actually fight a lot i was nothing but trouble, that's why people don't like me, gosh i wish i could just escape this hell

Well there's nothing to do i guess I'll go murder something..I walked around the forest i was in and i heard something the forest was dark that's why I could only hear where it was from it led me east trust me i know where I'm going then i heard intense growling and somebody's screaming i saw a little bit and it was wolf's cornering somebody in fancy clothing, i unsheathed my sword and walked towards them calmly, the wolf's were quite big actually but it was no problem, i finished them quickly stabbing every single one of them, spreading blood everywhere even to the person wearing the fancy clothing i leaned down and saw a wound on they're arm i guess it got scraped my the teeth of those ugly things "Hey are you okay?" I asked and they seemed speechless then i heard some person say "Stay away from the royal highness!" Royal highness? Oh it's one of those slobs, i heard somebody jump down form the tree

Oh. So pathetic guards dare to shoo me away after i saved their butts they literally wuss away on trees? And call me the person in the wrong? I ignored him and bandaged the 'royal highness's' wound they looked up at me oh i guess they kinda look like a royal but they're kind of how do I say it? ugly? I don't really like at that face more specifically the expression, the expression of pity and aspiration it disgust me. I got back up and walked away, i heard stumbling steps rushing to me and somebody pulling my hand i turned back to see that 'royal highness' now i see the face better and it's a she i think she had slightly red hair and 'adorable' hazle eyes and her face is very gentle as her touch too "Wait!" Her voice has gentle 'Thank you for saving me." "It's no big deal, i didn't want anyone to get hurt" I replied she then asked something i wouldn't ever dream of "Will you be my new guard? My guards right now as you saw didnt really do a good job.." she offered me a job that i would probably enjoy doing and given my qualities and traits it seems perfect. I accepted her offer but also questioned her "Sure..? But what's the catch?" I asked hesitantly "I'm a royal but my parents regarding my safety they try to find the best people to guard me and i think your fit for it, you don't really seem interested in this, apologies if I bothered you"

Oh. She need guards? I guess those lame punks couldn't even fight puppies. She asked me to follow her and i did we didn't really walk that far, but this was so sudden, i eyed her the entire time we were walking

We reached her place and i looked in impressment the palace wasn't too shabby until i saw her parents they look too extravagant honestly, they truly look like royalty, i can tolerate them but i can't ever be compatible with people with such high authority like royalty given their status they're arrogant, blunt and unfair they're full of them selfs and overrated. I can't stand them but in this situation i can't just seem like that they'd have my head in a second, royals are a mere accessory.

"Well they're my parents. Mom, dad may you introduce yourselfs?" She asks her parents "We are Queen and King James, a pleasure to meet you" They introduced themselves i should introduce myself too but i can't risk them knowing my actual name "Luna Aster a delight to meet your royal highness" i faked a smile and did a courtesy for them "We heard that you protected our daughter from wolves, we thank you for that and would like you to guard our daughter." They said i really didn't mind but i did...I didn't want to obey orders but i also want an excuse to beat things up oh well i can always quit. "I would be honored to protect your daughter." I can't let them know my power. People would assume I'm a witch but they should be mindful of who they are, their fate lies on the tip of the blade, if they mess with me they won't live to regret it. Oh well i shrugged mentally "You can start off now" she said i was a little annoyed but didn't show it, who does she think she is? What freak dares messes with me? Mark my words i will rule over this empire and abolish the rights for royalty, royalty has ruined many lives. They're horrible i will eliminate Evey single one of them. "Of course where shall we head off to first my royal highness?" I bowed down with my hand resting on my knee "Oh..That i don't really remember, i don't have my notebook, sorry.." she answered i unnoticeably rolled my eyes and scoffed but she thought i was sighing "Actually there's a evening banquet the maids will cook the food, best you don't go out right now." The queen said, interesting i see a opportunity to get highly trusted, a lot of people here hate the royals because the whole bloodline are brats their just money and nothing else adds to their person, they're not even a person in my eyes, i see them as brats and nothing but money nothing good about them. "I forgot about that...I'll go get ready for it" she grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs but i was ahead of her because royals like them don't exercise too often, weak, pathetic.

She then walked into her room and i waited for her outside i saw all the maids in the kitchen putting something weird in the food and spiking a rather specific drink and leaving the rest of the drinks alone i guess the spiked one is for Mrs. Angelique, she told her name earlier.

I was leaning on the wall playing with a dagger tossing in the air and catching it, i started to have dark thoughts of killing those treasonous, irresponsible, unfair bastards.

I was kind of getting bored and now that the maids are gone and nobody's here i can maybe use my power to entertain myself *Clatter* i focused on my dagger and levitate it my powers are more than telekinesis i swear but i won't tell you it's a secret, you'll know sooner.

I finally hear the door opening. I put my dagger away and looked at the wall clock and saw that it was 30 minutes before the party and i was barely ready but i don't think I'm invited anyways. What the big deal? I loathe the royal punks anyways. "By the way sorry i didn't tell you sooner but you're also invited." I was shocked and asked her "I'm invited?" Well thank goodness i know how to teleport clothes on i could just excuse myself i need to be fast i have 5 minutes because the royals have to get ready within 30 minutes for their accessories of course, what if they plan to impale the highness's skull? That'd be bad she could pass out from bloodlost and if she drink that spiked drink it'll make her faint or die maybe the food too I'll show her hesitance about the things and her small feeble brain will thank me.

All that went down

The party started i checked her head no shape objects or anything dangerous, maybe you ask how i could see her head? Well in 13cm taller maybe taller than that but i didn't see anything bad yet and she still seemed clueless how expected. Apparently her highness had to make me dress up in a dress as well although I'm no one important in this scene i work in the background with no recognition as long as everything's okay i don't care, but those people that have to flaunt everything they do is so immature i knew the right time to strike so i stayed close to the wall and analyzed the crowd all of them having small weapons that wouldn't be seen in the mundane eye, sure it's unfair people don't have powers like me but they don't have any at all I've been so careful to not show anything hence i had to pretend to not know anything but i know everything they don't and i know what i don't know.

The reception started and an announcement started i couldn't bother to listen it's just to listen to irrelevant things. But then finally after their boring talking and drying their mouths saying cheers they finally ate and i didn't exactly have the intention to save her highness but i would like to a promotion so i guess i will.

I went closer to her highness and tapped the table in this fashion:

She understood surprisingly and looked at me confused
I nodded and her eyes widened

She picked up what i meant and pushed her dish away. I slipped a dagger with a red string into her hand "You'll need it." She quietly slipped it into her pocket and smiled with thankfulness in her eyes.

Then the day ended but that's not all the princess was attacked in the middle of the night

I was guarding Angelique and took the red stringed dagger out of her pocket and stuck it between the door to protect her from intruders and i put a barrier around the castle no one can see it if people come across the barrier they will slowly loose their breath and suffocate.
I took time to analyze Angelique, she looked calm sleeping i want to know how to get close to her for reasons.
My plans involve her I'm sorry Angelique Jade. But I have to do this.

And as expected intruders did come in but they all died, i wonder how that happened??? Dumbass. But i have to set up a stupid decoy to make them think i set it up it would be suspicious if they just died out of no where i released the dagger from the door and put a barrier near Angelique and i went and set up decoys everywhere

Finally the sun's up and everyone in the castle woke up, but i couldn't have then awake just yet.
