Warning: mentions of suicide

Sorry for not updating in like 2 months so here is a 3500 words long chapter ⍟

I don't know for how long I was in the hospital but when I woke up it felt like I had been in this bed for a week.

When I woke up and opened my eyes I saw a nurse walking into my room. He flinched as he saw my eyes wide open.

He called in a doctor who arrived shortly after.

"Miss l/n, can you hear me?"

I nodded but moving my head caused me a lot of pain. Thankfully he noticed.

"I see that you're still in pain. That's odd, you had your surgery a month ago..."

My throat was dry and my voice hoarse. The nurse brought me a glass of water and helped me drink.

"Don't worry, your injuries weren't severe. The blade of your box cutter didn't cut very deeply into your skin-"

"Y/N!"

My mother who was a nurse at the hospital came rushing in. She hugged me tightly and almost started crying.

"I thought you would never wake up!"

"I'm fine now."

"Excuse me..? would you still like to hear about your injuries?"

"Sure."

"Well as I was saying, your injuries aren't severe. Your blade didn't cut very deeply so you didn't lose enough blood to need any given. Thanks to your mother's quick thinking you stopped bleeding very quickly and paramedics were able to save you without any issues."

"I see, thank you for saving me."

The next day Mr.Aizawa came to visit me. After his doctor's appointment, he found out I had woken up from my coma and decided to visit me.

"Are you feeling better y/n?"

"Yes Mr.Aizawa, much better."

"I'm not your teacher anymore y/n, you can call me Shota now."

He sighed and put his hand over his face while rubbing the inner corner of his eyebrows.

"What's wrong sir?"

"What's wrong here is that you tried to end your life!"

"S-sir I-"

"I heard that you got your hero license revoked for 3 months, what happened?"

I fiddled with my fingers while deciding if I would tell him. I wasn't particularly proud of what I did but it wasn't my fault. After a minute of silence, I decided to just tell him since he could just ask my old employer if he wanted to know that badly.

"I put a minor in the hospital... But I swear it wasn't on purpose! She was covered from head to toe and her raincoat was pitch black so I couldn't tell where her arms were. I threw 2 ribs at her to pin her to a wall and it ended up piercing her arms..."

"I see, you didn't know..."

"Her parents were going to press charges but my boss argued with them until they came to an agreement. If I got my license revoked they wouldn't press charges and the girl's time in a youth center would be reduced."
