A new start

Kopa's pov.

I opened my eyes weakly and looked at my body coverd I'm wounds and calm marks.

I stood up weakly and looked back at the pridelands one last time. I'm sorry mom I said as I crossed the border and started walking.

3 days later.

I looked up seeing the sun blazing like fire as I continued walking I looked up to see a small pride and watering hole I walked down to the wateringhole as I took a sip of cool water.

Ughmm who are you Lil were are your parents. I looked up seeing a lioness who looked like she was in her older years.

I ran away I said as the lioness smiled.

I'm Angellica and who are you? The Iioness asked as I looked away I'm kopa I Saud as I was super quiet.

Come cub I'll show you a place you can rest. Angelica said as I noded and followed her.

In a cave.

Here cub you can rest Here while I go hunt rest alright? She said as I noded.

I laid on my back being careful of my cuts looking at sky wondering about mom and how the pridelands are.

"Mom I hope your alright" I said as I laid there falling asleep.

Hey cub I heard Angelica say as I woke up I smiled as she put the meat right in front of me.

Kopa what made you run away? Angelica asked me ad I looked at my little paws. My...my father I said as I lowered my ears.

What do you mean? Angelica asked me as I started eating.

He ended up attcking my mom because he found out I'm not his real son and and he ended up almost killing me. I said as tears flowed from my eyes.

Oh kopa hey look at me Angelica said as she wiped my tears.

Hey listen kopa if ur okay with it... I can take you in that way you won't be alone or survive on ur own. Angelica said as looked up at the sky and smiled sure I said as we nuzzled....
