→ wednesday addams • you would fight over her obsession with the hyde • the more clues she discovered, the more distant you both got • all that she could talk about is the case, nothing else, you wanted to know how she is doing, you wanted to know about HER, NOT the case • you have had enough of her once she's put you through danger (even if you love danger, but this time, it wasn't in a good way) • it showed how little she cared about you, and how obsessed she was, prioritizing her case over you. your patience snapped. • you lashed out on her • "all you talk about is the case! you are no longer solving it, but rather obsessing over it! you would put anyone on the line to get what you want," you shouted in distress. "we almost died because of you!" you continued, your breathing erratic after witnessing THE hyde chasing after you, wednesday, and enid. "but we didn't," wednesday countered him. "and i'm one step closer to solving this case, that is what is important," she said. that was the last straw she broke and it was enough to break you. you took in a loud breath, your eyes watered for the first time in front of her. "i've tried," you said. "i've tried really, really, hard to be your boyfriend. always put myself out there, listening to your rants about the case, follow your steps to get closer to the case, and protecting you from all harms during investigating the case. eventually i got bilious of hearing you constantly talking about the case," you said, you wiped your tears quickly. "i didn't ask you to do that," wednesday stated quietly. "because that's what couples do! they don't need to be asked! i wanted to hear something about you, not about the stupid case!" you said. "the case is something about me," wednesday stated. "besides, i can handle this case alone anyways," wednesday commented. you scoffed in disbelief. "you want to be alone, wednesday? then, be alone!" you exclaimed before leaving her dorm. • wednesday couldn't help but feel a big hole drilled into her heart, and for the first time, she really truly felt alone. • she couldn't describe it, but she was in deep agony when she saw your tears form for the first time in front of her. • to know that you were crying for the first time because of her was enough to make her cripple in the inside, even her face had a small hint of remorse. • eventually, you ignored her, not caring about her, just like how she didn't care about you, but one day, while laying down in bed, staring at the ceiling, you noticed a familiar hand hanging on the ceiling before it jumped and landed on you, you freaked out and squirmed in chills. • once you've calmed down, you saw thing on the floor, since he jumped off from your blanket while you were squirming around • he gave you a note wednesday had typed with her typewriter. • "i'm sorry. i will try my best to be more considerate." • you were touched. right then and there there was a knock on the door, and you opened it to be greeted with wednesday. she looked at you with a strong hint of hesitance in her eyes, before she sucked in a tight breath. swallowing her dignity and pride before engulfing you in a hug slowly. • you were shocked, to say the least, but you slowly hugged her back, before you two immediately separated.
