Chapter Five: Trouble

Fifteen minutes passed and Shikamaru was now teaching Shikadi the Climbing Silver technique. 

"Dinner's ready," Temari said. 

Takami nodded and walked over to the table. 

"Dinner's ready," Temari repeated a little louder. 

Takami facepalmed as she heard Shikadi's exclamation of fear, "D-Dad!" 

"Huh?" Shikamaru was confused. 

"I said dinner's ready, dammit!" Temari smacked the two with her fan. 

"Ahh!" Both exclaimed as they flew out of the house.

"How's your training coming along, Sasuto?" Sasuke asked as the five ate dinner. 

"Great!" Sasuto smiled. 

"That's good," Sakura nodded. 

"Yeah, and Shino-sensei said that if I keep this up, I could possibly be like Uncle Itachi!" Sasuto beamed. 

"That's...good," Sasuke nodded, "I would assume he means the genius part." 

"And you're the one complaining about how we're already Genin," Haru muttered, "While it's possible you could become Genin very soon."  

"You two get to go on missions while I have to sit there and do boring stuff," Sasuto pouted. 

"I haven't even been on a mission yet!" Haru complained. 

"Still, it's more fun than being a student," Sasuto replied.

The Uzumakis were finally able to eat dinner together, all four of them, so they all were enjoying the moment. 

"How's the work coming along?" Hinata asked. 

"It's going fine," Naruto replied. 

"Is there going to be a day where you can come home earlier than dinnertime?" Boruto asked. 

"Probably not soon, but if I can get all my work done, yes," Naruto replied. 

"Well at least you're doing your work," Himawari smiled. 

"I suppose that's true," Boruto nodded.

The next day, Takami awoke to the smell of her mother cooking. 

"What's for breakfast?" She asked. 

"Can you wake up your brother and dad first?" Temari asked. 

"Sure," Takami nodded and headed to their rooms. 

"AH!" Shikamaru awoke with a jolt, "Oh, Takami, you scared me." 

"Get going, you lazybones or you'll be late for work!" Takami scowled. 

"Got it!" Shikamaru nodded and quickly got dressed, then grabbed a small snack as he dashed out the door. 

"Shikadi!" Takami headed to her brother's room, "Wake up!" 

But when she opened the door, no one was there. 

"Mom!" Takami went to the kitchen, "Shikadi's not in his room." 

"What? But then where is he?" Temari asked. 

"I'll ask Inojin and Chocho if they've seen him," Takami headed out the door. 

First, she went to the Yamanaka flower shop, "Oh, hey Takami," Ino greeted her. 

"Where's Inojin? I need to ask him something," Takami said.
