CHARLOTTE PROBABLY HAD TO BE THE RESPONSIBLE WOMAN LOOKING AFTER HER YOUNG DAUGHTER AND TEENAGE SISTER AT HOME, as she normally did. But that night had been the night of the day she had the interview at Stark, so she was sharing a bottle of tequila with her sister, to whom she shouldn't be giving alcohol, because Acacia didn't know how to control herself when she drank, nor when she consumed other things.
⠀⠀"And I met him," the blonde remembered. "I met the boss and the job isn't even mine yet."
⠀⠀"What?" Acacia puzzled, getting up a little from the floor she was lying on. "Did you meet Tony Stark? The hot Tony Stark?"
⠀⠀"He's not that hot," she hastened to say, her voice slurring a little in her drunkenness. "He called me 'pretty girl'," she complained, getting a grimacing reaction from her sister. "Can you believe it? What an idiot. I should have punched him in the balls."
⠀⠀"No, you can't hit the boss before he's yor boss," warned the younger blonde. "At least not at work, but in other places..."
⠀⠀"Acacia Heller!" Charlotte exclaimed, earning a laugh from her.
The evening was going on quite long, for the single mother kept talking about the twenty-eight minute interview she had with Gregory Michaels.
⠀⠀He had asked her a lot of questions, but before she would answer, he had begged her to keep her answers short and without details, as it was not about her personality, but about her intellectual capacity. She had agreed, but it had been very difficult, for she was so intelligent that she could give the longest and most detailed answers of all, but Gregory Michaels seemed to be an idiot.
