"WAIT, YINSEN?"
⠀⠀Tony sighed, looking at Charlotte with a face confused by the strange mythical story he was telling her about his abduction from the Ten Rings. She was interrupting him with so many questions and her ability to drag out the stories, that they were both already eating, when Tony got hungry; but she was eating more.
⠀⠀She was brilliant, he had no doubt about it, and perhaps it was because she was never in doubt, and was not afraid to ask questions.
⠀⠀"Yes, he... well. But, the point is..."
⠀⠀"Hey, so you almost got killed with your own weapons, don't you think it's ironic? Besides, what are you going to do if something similar happens with this... armor? In the wrong hands, this would be..."
⠀⠀"A disaster. I know. That's why it's something you and I are going to work on. No one else. No one can find out," he explained quickly. "It's top secret, Charlie."
⠀⠀The blonde turned to look at him because of the diminutive he had used. She didn't love the idea of him calling her that, since no one else did, only Andrew.
⠀⠀"I have a daughter and a sister. They are literally everything to me, so I hope it's not in your plans to jeopardize my ass, because they depend on it," she popped a small fistful of popcorn into her mouth.
⠀⠀Tony smiled slightly.
⠀⠀"Your ass will be fine, trust me. I mean, it already is, but you know," he winked at her, getting her to roll her eyes.
⠀⠀The man had been very serious for a while, she was already expecting such a comment. But it did not mean that she was not bothered, for the next day when she had to return she would have to make clear some rules on which she was going to meditate at home.
