A JOB AS BORING AS BEING A TECHNICIAN IN A TEDIOUS COMPANY LIKE THE ONE CHARLOTTE FOUND HERSELF WORKING IN WAS THE WORST PART OF HER DAYS. After Tony Stark disappeared, or was kidnapped as the news clung to say, she had missed the opportunity of a lifetime.
⠀⠀Stark wanted to work with her, but he was gone, so Pepper Potts herself, with a sob between her words, informed her that her position was on hiatus "temporarily".
⠀⠀Frankly, Heller didn't think he would be found alive. He was a weapons developer, a billionaire and a womaniser, of course he had enemies, and enemies of all kinds.
⠀⠀She resigned herself, and tried to find another job that matched her skills, because she had far more potential than she was showing. Besides, she was the only woman in her area of work. She was the girl who got her ass stared at when she got up for a cup of coffee, and she was more than fed up with it.
⠀⠀Acacia looked like she worked in a coffee shop on weekends for fun, or just for extra money, because she had already graduated with honours, but she hadn't mentioned anything about looking for a job. She loved the Pym Company, but she could never work there without a lot of experience. Charlotte kept telling her to find something that would nurture her professionally, but Acacia responded by saying she had a plan. It wasn't quite true.
