"C- C'mon (Y/n). We've got somewhere to go." Rick grabs you by the arm and starts to take you away with him; not caring about what you were just busy with. "Where are we going?" You ask with a smile. "I-It's a sur-prize." He says, pointing his portal gun at the wall and shooting it to make the green portal appear.

Once both of you went through the portal, you opened your eyes to see bright green palm trees swaying in the warm summer breeze. The beautiful ocean water hugging the sandy floor that was occupied by colorful lawn chairs.

"Rick, is this Hawaii!?" You ask excitedly, smiling from ear to ear. Rick grins, "Yes, it is." You turn to him and squint your eyes, quickly changing your demeanor, "This isn't some strange alien spaceship where this is a simulation of a simulation of an alien planet that just looks like Hawaii, is it?" His eyes widen as he was surprised that you came up with that scenario. He then laughs, "No it's not." You sigh in relief. "But you never know." You hit him lightly on the arm, "It better not be!" He laughs some more as he loved teasing you and seeing you all worked up.

"Now let's go get some foooood!" Rick says excitedly, leading the way. As the both of you walked, you could see that the resort was crowded as you could see people everywhere you looked. This didn't bother you though since it wasn't as bad as New York. You could see kids playing in the water and a few people walking along the sand; a few also sitting and relaxing.

After a few minutes of walking, the two of you come across a restaurant, "The Original Roy's in Hawaii Kai". Geez, what a name... You thought as you looked up at the sign. Rick shrugs his shoulders, "I guess this will do." The both of you enjoy the meal, including a delicious dessert, and then head out to the beach as the sun started to go down.

Upon reaching the sandy beach, you take your shoes off and enjoy the sand that was underneath your feet. The sand was still hot from the sun that scorched it during the day so you were quick to head to the ocean to cool your feet. Rick did the same as he followed you around, snickering to himself about how unbelievably happy you were. You've always imagined Hawaii being a great place to relax and have fun, and your predictions came true as you got to experience it for yourself.

As you now walked along the shoreline, you start to pick up small seashells and begin to make a collection; soon enough having a handful of unique ones. At this time, the sun was setting and everyone started to head home; however, you and Rick decided to stay longer to enjoy the setting sun. Rick got the two of you some chairs and the both of you sat down comfortably while looking out at the never-ending ocean.

"Here Rick, I have something for you!" He turns to look and sees a huge seashell in your hands. It was pink and had a cream-colored, bumpy outer shell. "When did you get that!?" He asked, taking the shell from you. "I found it when you were away getting the chairs." You say with a bright smile. Rick smiles, "Thank you (Y/n)." Sure he was being nice to you verbally, but he was obviously thinking about where the heck he was going to put the thing he didn't need.

After the sun set and it was now dark, the two of you fold the chairs back up and put them back where Rick had got them. Once they were put up, you toss your shells on the sand and give Rick a soft hug, "Thank you for taking me here. It was a very nice trip." Rick smiled, "You're welcome (Y/n). You know that you can come here at any time right?" You laugh, "Yeah... But going by myself isn't as much fun and enjoyable if I don't have someone to share it with. Especially with someone like you." You blush as you say those words.

Rick kisses you softly on the head, "Let's go." He blushes and quickly makes the portal appear and the two of you go through. Rick wasn't one to be caring so, all of this was very surprising to you. And you didn't know that while the two of you were having fun, Rick had to make a protective shield surrounding the place so that no one would interrupt the special moment.

I'm not good at writing fluff haha, especially since Rick doesn't really care about much other than himself (only on rare occasions he will share his true feelings and care).
