The Story of Sarah Wallace (Season 1)

Season 1 Episode 13 - No Illusions

PREVIOUSLY:
Sarah confided in Laura.
Elliot Finch and a badly injured Jack arrived at The Wallace Residence.
Sean employed Elliot into his crew.

Sarah is inside her bedroom and is standing at the bottom of her queen sized bed and is folding clothes onto the bed when Sean walks into their bedroom and Sarah glances to him and says "Hey" Sean replies "Hi Gorgeous, what you doing?" Sarah replies as Sean sits on the edge of their bed "I'm just doing some laundry" Sean nods as he says "Hey Babe I've been doing some thinking" Sarah says "Uh oh that's a bit dangerous" Sean dryly chuckles "Shut up you. I've been thinking that you should quit your job" and Sarah replies "What?" Sean says "Well with the baby on the way, I just think it's for the best" and Sarah scoffs in disbelief "You're Unbelievable, I can always go on maternity leave but it doesn't mean I need to quit" and Sean replies "Look Sare all I'm thinking is how are you gonna manage with Jake and the baby and a part time job?" and Sarah glares to Sean and she says "I'm sorry, I didn't realise we were in the 1900s!" stops folding clothes and storms out of the bedroom and Sean stands up and calls out "Sarah!" but Sarah marches off out of the house and slams the door shut.

Later that day Sarah is sitting at the kitchen table as her mobile phone is attached to her ear and she sighs "Connor it isn't a big deal...yeah I know I'm pregnant for the second time. Look just calm o, byou should be happy for me" Billy walks into  the kitchen and looks to Sarah as Sarah looks to Billy and she says "Look Con, I've gotta go..I'll speak to ya later" and Sarah hangs up the call and Billy asks "What was that all about?" Sarah deeply sighs as she places her mobile phone on the kitchen table and says "Oh nothing, I just told Connor that I'm pregnant" Billy sits down at the kitchen table as he asks "ah I see, how did he react?" Sarah replies "Worst than last time" and Billy chuckles "He's your Big Brother, it's his job to overreact" and Sarah giggles. A moment later Billy looks to Sarah and says "What's up?" Sarah looks taken back as she asks "what do you mean?" Billy replies "Somethings bothering ya, what's going on?" Sarah sighs as she answers "it's just I got into a little argument with Sean. He wants me to quit my job" and Billy replies "But you love it there" and Sarah nods "Yeah that's my point, he doesn't think I'll manage with two kids and a job" and Billy asks "You want me to have a word with him?" Sarah shakes her head "No, just leave it Bill. I appreciate the offer but I can handle Sean" and Billy smiles to his Best Friend.

Sean is sitting inside his office as Ed walks into the office and Sean simply nods to Ed and Sean says "I want a meeting with Luan, he captured and beaten Jack and that needs answered" Ed looks ahead to Sean and says "Sean" and Sean asks as he looks up to Ed "What is it?" Ed replies "Jack's dead" and Sean asks in shock "What do you mean?" Ed replies "I went to Jack's last night and I found his body, he's dead...he killed himself" and Sean asks taken back "Suicide?" Ed nods and Sean looks in shock.

Eric is sitting in his cell when he stands up and he slightly lifts his mattress and he Ickes up his burner phone and he places the mattress down. Eric walks towards his cell door and closes the cell door and he turns his back to the door and he flips open the phone and presses a number and he presses the phone to his ear. A moment later a man's voice speaks "Hello?" Eric replies "Yeah Dylan, it's Eric" Dylan says "Hey Boss man, what's up?" Eric replies "I need you to do something for me" Dylan asks "Well, what is it?" Eric replies "I want you to keep tabs on Sean Wallace, I want you to follow him and let me know what he's up to alright" Dylan nods "Sure Eric, no worries I can do that for you" and Eric nods "Good, alright I gotta go now" and Eric hangs up the call and deeply sighs.

Later that night Sean walks into the house and he walks straight ahead into the kitchen to see Sarah chopping up fruit. Sarah glances to Sean and she focuses back on her task and Sean says "Hey Gorgeous" and Sarah continues chopping. Sean says "So, you're gonna give me the silent treatment?" Sarah sighs "What do you expect? How long you known me? Since when have you ordered me around?" Sean says "I should never have said anything. I don't want you thinking I'm giving you orders" Sarah sighs as she stops chopping and turns around and sits down at the kitchen table and Sean follows Sarah as he sits beside her. Sarah says "I like my job, it's my independence Baby. I know it's probably gonna be tough with Jake and the baby and my job but I can make it work" and Sean nods and he replies "I'm sorry for being a Dick, can you forgive me?" Sarah smirks "Always let's just forget about it Baby" and Sean grasps hold of Sarah's hand and gently kisses her hand and Sarah smiles. After a moment Sarah says "Actually I have some news, it's about my Dad he's getting out in two weeks" and Sean looks taken back and he says "Whatever happens, we stick together as a team" and Sarah nods and says "I'm under no illusions, I know my Dad's a dangerous guy but I love him. I need to give him a chance" and Sean leans forward and presses his forehead against Sarah's and he presses his hand on Sarah's swollen stomach and says "Whatever happens Babe, he can't break us...we're a team" and Sarah grins as they both share a kiss and Sean says "I love you" and Sarah replies "I love you right back" and Sean crashes his lips onto Sarah's lips as their lips lock as they passionately kiss.
