Tommys breathing was the only sound in the room as he tried to look for y/n and Ziggy. As Tommy got closer to them Ziggy and y/n hid behind a different table. The sound of glass breaking could be heard as Tommy continued to look around the room. Ziggy put her hand on y/n's knee. y/n looked down to see a snake crawl on top of Ziggy. y/n and Ziggy looked at each other before Tommy came over and grabbed Ziggy by her hair.

"Ziggy!" y/n cried out.

Ziggy screamed as Tommy dragged her across the table by her hair. Tommy swung his ax but y/n pushed Ziggy out the way, making Tommy ax her in the leg. y/n screamed in pain.

"Run!" y/n told Ziggy.

Ziggy took one last look at y/n before running out of the science and nature building.

"Kurt! Will! Anybody!" Ziggy shouted.

Ziggy gasped as she saw the bus drive away. In the distance she saw Tommy walking over to her so she took off. Ziggy ran inside the mess hall and turned on the radio. Ziggy then locked herself in a closet. Tommy heard the radio and kicked open the door to the mess hall. Tommy followed Ziggy's footprints into the kitchen. He axed the door to the closet that Ziggy was in. He unlocked the door and walked in. Ziggy came out from behind him as the radio shut off. Tommy turned around and Ziggy immediately stabbed him in the chest. Tommy punched her in the face. Ziggy screamed as Tommy started to choke her. She reached back and put a sack on his head and tackled him to the ground. Ziggy ran away as Tommy stood up. He chased after her and kicked the back of her leg.

"No!" Ziggy shouted as Tommy raised his ax.

Cindy came up behind Tommy and stabbed him in the back. Tommy turned around to look at her. Cindy looked at him and stabbed him in the heart.

"Fuck... you!" Cindy said which each stab.

Tommy fell to the floor, dead.

"You swore!" Ziggy panted.

"It's becoming a habit." Cindy told her.

Ziggy laughed as Cindy bent down and hugged her.

"You smell like shit." Ziggy said.

"Yeah, that's because I'm covered in it." Cindy informed her.

"Oh god." Ziggy cringed as she pushed Cindy away from her.

"Do you think it'll wash out?" Cindy asked her.

"You might need to buy a new polo." Ziggy answered as she fixed Cindy's collar.

"I'm so sorry, Ziggy." Cindy apologized. "I'm... I'm sorry I wasn't here, not just tonight, but every day."

"No, you were. You just-"

"No, no." Cindy cut her off. "I haven't been here. I know that now. I know that you just needed me to listen, to hear you. I thought if I just put my head down and followed the rules, everything would be fine, that I'd get out of Shadyside, but... now I know you were right. Everything is cursed."

"I could have been nicer." Ziggy blamed herself. "I could have been less of a... of a monster."

"Yeah. Well... You were my monster. And at the end of the day, Mom, Dad... Shadyside, Sunnyvale, I..." Cindy put her hands on Ziggy's cheeks. "I won't let anything pull us apart again. You hear me?"

Ziggy nodded. "Loud and clear, ma'am."

Ziggy and Cindy turned their heads when they heard distant banging. Cindy crawled over to the hole that she came out of and looked inside. Alice came out of the hole, scaring the shit out of the two girls.

"Hey, snitch!" Alice greeted.

"What took you so long?" Cindy asked her.

Alice looked at Ziggy, Tommy's dead body, then back to Cindy. "You did it."

"We did it." Cindy corrected.

Cindy hugged Alice.

"Okay, careful, okay?" Alice gestured to Cindy's bag as Cindy pulled away from the hug. "This thing's like a million years old."

"I bought that a month ago." Cindy told her.

"No, I'm not talking about your stupid bag, genius. 'Blood will fall'. Satan's stone, okay? It was right there. All this time, buried under the moss, and I found it. I fucking found it."

"Found what?" Cindy asked.

Alice pulled the Sarah Fier hand out of Cindy's bag.

"What? What is it?" Ziggy asked.

"It's Sarah Fier's lost hand." Alice told her.

"Nurse Lane... she spent her entire life looking for this. A way to stop the curse that took her daughter." Cindy said.

"'Without her hand, her grip on the land holds firm. The curse will last until body and hand unite.'" Alice recited from the book. "This led us to the hand bone. And if the legend is true, that means her body's still buried-"

"By the hanging tree." Ziggy finished.

"We can end this. No more murders, no more curse, no more..." Cindy looked over at Tommy's dead body. "Pain. We can save Shadyside... tonight!"

Ziggy slid the hand over to her. A couple drops of blood fell from Ziggy's nose onto the hand. Ziggy gasped and wiped the blood from her nose.

"My nose... I bled on the hand and... I think I just saw her." Ziggy said in between breaths.

"Who?" Cindy asked.

"Sarah Fier. She was... She was angry." Ziggy said.

"We have to bury this thing... right fucking now." Alice told them.

Cindy nodded as she ran back into the closet and grabbed a shovel. She ran back out to the others and gave Ziggy a smaller shovel.

"Okay, let's go." Cindy said.

Alice looked at the shovel that Ziggy was holding and then at the shovel that Cindy was holding. "What, I have to use my hands?"

"No, you're staying here." Cindy told her.

"Come on, I can hop just fine." Alice hopped across the room. "I watched my dad go to jail when I was six. I watched my mom steal... so I could eat. First time I cut myself I was 12. It was after... Well, you know when. And now tonight... I watched your perfect boyfriend turn into a monster and kill the only person I've ever loved. I've waited... my whole fucking life for this. And now I've found it. Let me see this through. For Arnie... for Tommy... for Shadyside."

Cindy nodded. "For Shadyside."

Ziggy nodded. "For Shadyside."

"Alice!"
