Chapter 5

Alice turned around and Tommy axed her right in the head. Alice fell to floor. Cindy stepped forward and whacked Tommy in the head with her shovel. She pinned Tommy to the wall with the shovel. 

"Fucking die! Why won't you fucking die!"

Ziggy screamed as Cindy took Tommy's head off. Cindy panted as Tommy's head and body fell to the floor. Cindy kneeled down next to Alice.

"Alice? Alice, just... Just stay with me. Alice." Cindy begged.

Alice took two more breathes before fully dying. 

"No. Alice! Alice!" Cindy sobbed.

Cindy and Ziggy looked up when they heard singing in the distance.

"What is that?" Ziggy asked.

The two of them walked back into the kitchen and saw Ruby Lane crawl out of the hole.

"Run, run!" Cindy shouted.

They both ran out of the kitchen. Ziggy went over to Tommy and picked up his ax. Tommy came back to life and grabbed Ziggy's ankle, causing her to scream

"Ziggy!" Cindy yelled.

"Help me!" Ziggy pleaded.

Cindy pulled Ziggy out of Tommys grasp. They both ran out of the mess hall with their shovels.

"There it is! Go, go!" Cindy said as they started to approach the hanging tree.

"Here?" Ziggy asked.

"Yes! Dig Dig!" Cindy said as they both kneeled down next to the tree.

They both started to quickly dig.

Ziggy looked up and noticed Billy Barker coming towards them. "Cindy?"

Cindy looked up and saw him to. "Just keep digging!" She told Ziggy.

They both continued digging. Cindy looked up and saw Ruby Lane walking towards them.

"Faster!

"I hit something." Ziggy said.

They both ditched the shovels and used their hands. They pulled out a rock with writing on it.

"The witch forever lives." Cindy and Ziggy read.

"Cindy, what does it mean? Cindy?" Ziggy asked.

"I don't know." Cindy answered.

"Where is she? Where's the body?" Ziggy questioned.

"I don't know." Cindy repeated.

The two stood up and noticed all the Shadyside killers walking to them.

"This way. Come on!" Cindy grabbed Ziggy's arm.

They turned around but stopped moving once they saw Tommy running at them. In every direction there was a killer coming at them.

"What do you want, Sarah Fier?" Cindy yelled before picking up the hand. "You want this? You can have it! Just let my sister live!" Cindy turned to face Ziggy. "You bled on the bone. They're after you. Get ready to run."

"No, Cindy, no! No, Cindy!" Ziggy protested.

"Let's go!" Cindy yelled.

Cindy grabbed Ziggys arm and shoved her to run one way while Cindy ran at Tommy. Cindy's shovel collided with Tommy's head. Tommy hit Cindy in the head with his ax, making her fall to the ground.

"No!" Ziggy cried.

The Milkman came out of nowhere and stabbed Ziggy in the stomach as Tommy repeatedly axed Cindy in the chest. Ziggy screamed as she fell to the ground next to Cindy. The Milkman repeatedly stabbed Ziggy in the stomach. Ziggy reached her hand out and looked over at Cindy. All of the Shadyside killers disappeared as Ziggy and Cindy took her final breaths.

"Ziggy!" y/n yelled as she ran over to Ziggys body. "No! Hey, hey! Don't die on me, okay?" y/n immediately started to do CPR on Ziggy. "Come on, come on, come on! Breathe."

Ziggy started to cough as her eyes opened.

"Ziggy..." y/n said as she put her hand on Ziggy's cheek.

The EMT's arrived and put Ziggy and Cindy on a stretcher. They rolled them over to the front of the camp where the ambulances were waiting.

"Hey, what's your name? Look at me. What's your name?" One of the EMT's asked her.

"Ziggy."

"It's Christine. Her real name, it's Christine Berman." y/n told the EMT, not taking her eyes off Ziggy.

"Where's my... Where's my sister?" Ziggy asked.

y/n and Ziggy looked over to where Cindy's body was on the stretcher. The EMT's covered her dead body with a sheet.

"Cindy..." Ziggy whispered.

The EMT's rolled Cindy away and Ziggy looked at y/n.

"It was her. Sarah Fier, the witch." Ziggy said as y/n ran her fingers through Ziggy's hair. "The curse, it's... it's real."

y/n didn't answer. The EMT's put Ziggy in the ambulance and drove off as Officer Kapinski walked over to y/n.

"What the hell happened here?" He asked y/n.

"Tommy Slater. He just went crazy." y/n told him.

"Fucking Shadysiders." Officer Kapinski cursed.

y/n knew all about her brothers plans. She wasn't proud of what her family was doing but... She was a Goode whether she liked it or not and she had to live up to the family name. Besides... you don't become a part of the police force by telling silly witch stories.
