Against all odds

"Ania ... I found information about the whereabouts of Strelok from a recently deceased Stalker, on his cellphone he noted that he saw a strlok group occupying a place called Pripyat, be prepared if you are going there." Sidorovich said via cell phone to Ania.

"Okay...father I will be careful." Ania replied before hanging up the call.

After the gathered members of the Railway Faction started their journey to a part of The Zone called Pripyat, Pripyat is a place with many skyscrapers, formerly the residence of the Ecologist Faction, because it was abandoned by the Ecologist Faction many people did not think that the Duty Faction was hiding there.

The available members were only about thirty-five people, and some of them were recently injured. But that doesn't discourage them from protecting what they hold dear.

"Okay, everyone, we are gathered here for the purpose of defeating the enemies of the Railway Faction as well as protecting our dreams, goals, and the people we care about. There will be no retreat once we have entered the enemy zone. Whatever happens out there, no matter how bad the situation is, we have to stick to what we believe in."

"HUUURAAA...."

"HUUUURRRAAAAAA..."

And so began their journey to Pripyat.

The sky was getting cloudy, and the wind was blowing really hard when they reached Pripyat. Suddenly, from a very faraway place, there was a very loud sound like thunder roaring in a cave.

"Duarrr....dummm"

"Clupss...Kraaaakk"

One of the members of the Railway Faction fell and his head cracked. It was not the sound of thunder but a much scarier sound. It was the sound of a sniper. All of a sudden, all the members immediately took cover behind bushes and rocks, but the sniper shot even crazier. But Ania didn't run out of ideas, she ordered all members to wear their headlamps.

"Use...your headlamp and turn on your night vision googles we will defeat this sniper."

And sure enough the sniper turned out to be in the tallest building in Pripyat, he was caught because of the reflection from the sniper barrel which became visible because the headlamp was shining. And it didn't take long for Victor to immediately shoot his gun at the sniper and then he died.

After eliminating the sniper, I ordered everyone to settle down and sure enough a group of people came out of the abandoned building, they were wearing very thick armor armed with machineguns, stupidly they were shooting at random and telling their position.

"Put on your Silencers, we will eliminate them secretly" said Ania.

"Slup...cressh"

"Tttreeetss...clupss"

"All...target eliminated mam"

"Okay, now we split up to find information, Boris stay beside me."

"Aye...aye...capt."

Soon members of the Railway Faction reported that they found several prisoners from Strelok's group, and after interrogating them they reported that Strelok might be in the underground base.

After hearing the report, Ania ordered half of the Railway Faction to stand guard on the surface while the rest Follow her underground. inside one of the incubator tubes contains a Giant Mutant, much like the one they fought in Lab X-14.

And not only that Strelok's headquarters contained lots of mutants and zombies, but they also felt that their bullets would not be enough if they continued to shoot mutants and zombies.
