nobody's POV:

It had been about 2-3 months since wednesday had confessed to enid and they have really opened up to each other and wednesday had became more comfortable with enids presence. Valentines day was coming up and enid had been a bit disappointed seeing all the lovely couples gifting each other chocolates, roses, jewelry, etc. She thought wednesday would think such a day like this would be rather pointless, as they are already together and them being "romantic" (dating) was already enough. So the odds of wednesday giving gifts or even doing anything for the day would be lower than the chance enid would date eugene. Wednesday had told Enid she would be with "a friend" and busy today and a bit tomorrow which Enid found disappointed, wanting to hangout with her beloved, but also found it a bit suspicious. She decided to plan with Yoko, as she needed to talk to her about her problems lately with weds.

"I'm sure she'll do something enid." Yoko said, she was sitting across from the werewolf, eating the chocolates her lover had gave her. "She won't Yoko, I know weds and she's not a giver, even if she does, she would probably give me a severed heart." Enid sighed, she rested her head on her arms as Yoko patted her head comfortingly. "E, she's an Addams, they are known for being romantic." Yoko said. "yeah, but she's Wednesday." enid said, muffled by her mouth being on her arm. Yoko sighed, annoyed "look Enid, stop being a narcissist for a second and at least try to imagine her gifting you something!" enid lifted her head up surprised by the change in attitude. "I want to Yoko! I really do I really really do! But I can't imagine it. Not even me, and I imagine scenarios with Wednesday that help me sleep at night." "Wait you what- Anyways, as I was saying, have a little bit of hope Enid." Yoko got out of the booth and left, as enid watched her hug her lover, then walk away laughing.

Hope. Hope was what Enid definitely needed to hear Enid thought. She scoffed and got up shortly after the vampire had left. "Funny how I have to "hope" for my own girlfriend to give me anything for Valentine's Day." She was annoyed, kicking rocks as she walked back to nevermore from the coffee shop. She saw a store that appealed her so she went towards it thinking she wasn't busy anyway.

"Ouch!" Enid yelped as she bumped into someone walking from the shop. "Oh Lucas it's you!" Enid looked at him with a smile. "Hey Enid! What a coincidence finding you here, as I was gonna text you to ask something but here you are!" Lucas chuckled and looked Enid in the eyes. "Oh! Well um, I'm all ears..!" Enid clenched her jaw hoping, praying it wasn't what she thought it was.

Lucas cleared his throat.
"Enid Sinclair, would you uh, be my... valentine? It's tomorrow and I don't wanna miss out." He let out a soft laugh and rubbed the back of his neck.

what was she supposed to say?! After all she did have a girlfriend but, she wasn't my "valentine".

"shit! what do I say!? I have a homicidal maniac girlfriend who would probably murder him, but she isn't my valentine!" Enid panicked. She was nervous, unsure. "hope" hope she thought! Maybe Yoko was right, she should have hope. "isn't weds gonna be busy all day today and tomorrow?" She thought. It wouldn't hurt to let him take her out for a little tomorrow, it won't hurt. Enid was too lost contemplating that she was zoned out with a panicked look on her face.
"E-enid? are you going to answer me?"

"Oh uhm, yes-" enid was cut off, as Lucas thought she said yes to his valentine request. "Great!" "I'll stop by tomorrow around 7:30! Cya Enid!" Lucas quickly jogged past Enid with a happy grin. "god damnit I DIDNT even get to answer his question he totally cut me off!" Just now she heard a buzz coming from her phone. "hm?" "OH I FORGOT I WAS SUPPOSED TO SEE AJAX LATER!"

Wednesday POV

"are you sure?" Wednesday looked concerned ass Bianca started booking reservations for almost everything romantic possible. "Yes silly! Enid loves all these things, especially hanging out with you, you clueless woman." Bianca had just finished a few minutes later and Wednesday was just finishing up putting reminders for the places Bianca picked on her phone. She sighed, "let's go to Jericho, I have things to buy." Bianca squealed " Oh Wednesday I know just what to buy for your date!"

no one's POV

It was already 7PM and Enid was getting ready for Lucas's date. Wednesday was gone so she finally got ready. "I feel so guilty Yoko." Enid almost teared up to the thought of Wednesday catching them, and Wednesday heartbroken. "Just hurry up the date, and no physical contact with him Enid." she was already at the restaurant, eyeing Lucas with a bouquet in his hand. "Enid!" "These are for you, amour!"
Amour. Wednesday called Enid that.
Enid was feeling even more guilty hearing the nickname. "thanks, Lucas!" She said, smirking slightly almost uncomfortably. "Uh, you know I uh have Wednesday so uh please don't call me "love"!" Lucas rolled his eyes and scoffed, he didn't like the Addams. They had sat down and ordered shortly, enid had shared with Lucas, she was losing her appetite because the thought of Wednesday. "You know, that Addams is no good, she's a murderer," he came closer and whispered, "she tried to kill me once." " I stood up to her, she showed me no mercy, she's rude! Treats people like shit."Lucas was trying to gaslight Enid, to make him seem a better mate. "Uh! I think Wednesday is romantic in her own way!" She laughed nervously. Enid had lost her appetite and decided to text Yoko where she was, and what was happening. "I'm way nicer by the way." He winked and Enid cringed. they paid and left, as they were walking around Lucas turned to face Enid. "hey um Enid, I had a nice time with you." He had given her that same old smile. "I- I- uhm did too." she smiled slightly. Lucas leaned in to kiss enid. Little did they know they were right outside the store where Wednesday just happened to be in, buying a bouquet.

"WEDNESDAY! I SWEAR I DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH HIM! HE CUT"-Wednesday gave her a glare to shut it, as she saw enough. Just then she turned to Lucas, walking up to him. "so you take advantage of my girlfriend and try to make me seem a bad partner not fit for Enid so you would seem as a better option towards her?" "You make me seem as I'm a monster. "you rival me Lucas." Wednesday said, a pitch of annoyance in her voice. "How did you know he did that? And how I was here?" Enid looked confused "Yoko texted me."
Wednesday turned his back and was getting ready to walk away.

"Wednesday!" Enid yelled as she was about to leave. The only reason I with him was because you don't believe in Valentine's Day!"
"Says who?" wednesday looked puzzled. "wait so you don't think Valentine's Day is pointless and gifting on the day is stupid..?" enid was shocked and mad at herself for believing herself and going with Lucas. "no, I was assuming I was your valentine already and planned out the day yesterday with you for today, that's why I was in the flower shop Enid, I got you flowers." " I got you sunflowers because they grow the way of the sun." " it's my say of saying your are my sun, and I thrive off of you, il mio sole." wednesday said, noticing Lucas growl at the nickname. "Enid, I thought you wanted to be my valentine!" Lucas snapped, clenching his fists. " I said yes because because I snapped back into your question. You cut me off before I was gonna explain I had a partner." Enid said, a little guilty for not letting him know.

"Whatever, fuck you Sinclair." Lucas walked off, almost stomping, it was quite a sight to Wednesday. "I'm sorry Wednesday, let's just go back to the dorm." Enid said, guilty still for what she had done. "Enid." Yes I know I should've done something before I- "enid, I want you to be my valentine." Enid looked back shocked " you do? After what I did?" Enid was going to cry "yes, as I said before I had the day planned with you." "Wednesday.." enid looked up at the shorter girl "of course I would be your valentine."
