Little about me and my problems; here's and Example

Hi. My name is Claudia Melnic. Weird name, right? I get that all the time. Anyways, I don't wanna give up any details just yet. So hang tight. I'm starting from the beginning....

I was sitting in my boring science class, drawing like usual, when class was almost over. We were talking about... plate techtonics? Yeah. I think that's it anyways. I was getting an A in that class. I didn't need to listen, I never have before and obviously it doesn't show. Considering I have an A. Two minutes left. Ok. Maybe I won't go insane for two minutes. Maybe. No promises though. 30 seconds. man, how long does it take me to think? Cheese. That's just embarrasing. "Ok class! You may leave. don't forget to do the homework for tomorrrow!" She added on that last bit even though no one heard because we were all hurrying out the door and no one was actually going to do it. And to be honest, I just wanted to go to LA. But I won't get to go until tomorrow, because it was the end of the day. At least I can read 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. I went out to my bus and went home,  reading the book I had to read for homework.

On my way home, a man who I have never seen in my life came over and pointed a gun at me. I widened my eyes and dropped the book I was carrying. The man grabbed me and pulled me towards a dark alley and growled "give me every electronic you have. And give me all the money you have."

Surprisingly, I said something to him. I usually just do what I'm told. But this time I said "now why would I do that?"

He smiled and brought the gun higher to my head, "cause this is why, sweetie. Now hand it over."

"I don't have anything. I can't afford to buy myself electronics and I don't have any money, or I would buy myself electronics, genuis."

Guess he didn't believe me cause he loaded the gun and was getting ready to shoot when a blinding light came and went in a flash. He just grunted for the distraction then resumed to the trigger. I closed my eyes, but the pressure was soon released, and I heard a scream and a something that sounded like something heavy ramming into brick. I opened my eyes and seen the man lying by the brick wall unconscious, yet I felt another presence. I gulped and turned my head to see a woman with black hair and dark blue eyes. I just stared at the glowing staff she held and she smiled at me. I took a step back with wide eyes. Her raged eyes took on a more mild expression and she said to me in a kind voice, "run, child. I will come back for my payment soon." and she vanished.

I did what only a sane person would do. Run. And I didn't stop until I was in my safe and cozy comfort of my bedroom.
