After sitting on my bed, thinking about what has happened for what seemed like a life time, my parents called me down to eat dinner. I just kinda spaced out, I guess, so my mom and dad tried to get me to talk about school. Though it had nothing to do with school. Then with mashed potatoes half way in my mouth I finally got it! I- was- almost... robbed. Oh dear. That could have been bad.

I just quietly ate my dinner, it was mashed potatoes and chicken. I basically just pushed around the food, taking a bite every few minutes or so, just to say I ate something. Then I remembered, I had to go back there. I don't want to be on the bad side of someone who can move people without touching them and can glow and come from nowhere. I might go sink into a hole, and die. Might. Most likely. Wonderful thing to think about before going to bed. Great. I'll be having nightmares now. Thank you freaky appearing magician person lady.

This time I was running to school because I was running late. and to make it worse, it was raining, so I couldn't even run full speed. Then I slipped and fell on my butt, tearing my jeans and getting them soaked. Dang nibbit, I don't like wet clothes. It's too... wet. I stood and took and irritated breath at my clothes. I shook my head and started to run again. I ran into a lady because my balance was bad with the water soaking my clothes. She glared at me "well excuse me, young lady for not getting out of your way fast enough." and she stomped away into the puddles. Then I slowly turned away from where the lady and started to sprint again as soon as she was out of sight. I then slowed down as I passed the alley I was corned in by that man with the gun. I shuddered as I started to speed up again.

I quickly arrived at school after running for what seemed like miles but was only a little ways. I huffed and sprinted into the office to get a pass to class... Which rhymes, oooof course it does.

The lady just looked at me for a couple moments then said in a flat voice "Get out."

"What?" I asked, "I go to school here."

She glared "You were suspended yesterday. You should know that."

"What? Since when? That's a stupid question, since yesterday. But why?" I asked

"Oh don't act stupid with me, Girl. Get out." She growled then went to answering phone calls and totally ignoring me. Yay.

So I walked out. Defeated. And in a few hours- Killed. Thank you strange lady at desk. I walked home, as usual, and while I walked by the alley I was first almost mugged, I was grabbed. I squealed as I was pulled into the alley. A small hand covered my mouth to keep my screams from being heard. A womanly shushing kept me quiet.

"Ok, Claudia, I'm going to release you, don't run, don't scream, don't do anything but stand and hear me out. I want to give you an offer."

I nodded as her hand dropped. Quickly scurrying across the alley, I finally god a good glimpse of her. She had long dark hair, pale skin, and dark blue knowing eyes. Seemed familiar.

She smiled a perfectly white smile, "Hello, Claudia, good to see you again."

I tilted my head at her in confusion. How does she know my name? Then it hit me. She was the creepy lady who saved me. And she said she'd...come back...for her payment... Oh dang. My eyes wide and my mouth agspe, the woman laughed. She no longer held her staff by her side.

Her eyes bore into me as her lips curled into a soft smile. Then she called to me gently, "Claudia, would you like to be a goddess?.." And she awaited my answer.
