Riley POV

"Why are you crying, babe?" Harry asked, whiping the single tear that rested on my cheek away with his thumb.

I shook my head and hugged his waist, burrying my head into his chest.

"How is she one, already?" I sobbed. Harry chuckled, matting down my hair.

"I know, it's crazy" He sighed, shaking his head above mine. "Soon she'll be going to kindergarten"

I pulled back and glared at him "Don't you even start."

"Cakes done" A familiar voice chirped behind me. I whipped my head around and saw Steph and Niall behind me. "And if we don't sing Happy Birthday soon this pig is going to eat" Steph said, pinching Niall's bum.

"Oi! I would never! Well I would, if it wasn't Darcy's cake" Niall laughed.

"Alright, alright. Come on" Harry said, taking my hand and pulling me towards Darcy's birthday party.

It was a small gathering. My family, Harry's family, the guys, Grimmy, Ed, Petyon and Steph, and Eleanor, Danielle and Perrie.

Harry flicked the lights off in the kitchen while I crouched down next to my daughter.

"Mumma" She smiled, putting her tiny hand on my cheek. Of course her first word was "Daddy" and then she  said 'Mumma' and we are working on a couple more simple words. For a one year old, she can do a lot. Walking, clapping, talking ( a bit), and, oh wait that's it. Nevermind.

"One, two three" Harry counted as he brought a large pink cake, on behalf of One Direction, to the table, lit up with one single, yet huge candle.

"Happy Birthday to you" we all started to sing with the help of a barking Bella and a new rendition by Darcy Styles which consists of clapping and singing "Da da da da" off tune. She definitely got that from her father...

"Darce, blow out the candles!" Harry encouraged from his spot on the other side of Darcy. As she took a deep breath in, both Harry and I helped her tiny lungs blow out the flame.

"Yay!" We all cheered.

After hours of endless presents and a small food fight, thanks to the birthday girl taking a handful of her serving and throwing it on Harry, we were saying goodbye to our guests.

"Darcy, baby, let me get you cleaned up" I said stepping into the arch way that seperated the living room and the kitchen. She smirked, squirming from Harry's grip and running towards me.

I picked her up and set her on the counter.

"Did you have a good birthday?" I asked her, wetting a napkin and rubbing her face.

She nodded her head.

"Darcy, can you tell mummy how old you are?" Harry asked, wrapping his arms behind me.

Letting out a little grunt she lifted one finger up.

"Babe, can you say wo.." I trailed off, staring the word off.

"n"

"Good try, wo" Harry started again.

"One" She said, her eyes lighting up at the word leaving her mouth. I cheered while Harry twirled her towards the ceiling.

"Her bag is by the front door, she is probably going to get hungry in a couple of hours so there is a bottle in the fridge and -"

"Riley, hi I'm Sam, your older sister who babysat you when you were practically 3 so I know how to take care of a baby" Sam said, bouncing Darcy on her hip. "We're going to have a good time, right Darce?" She asked.
