I'll Wait For Love (Steroline Fanfic Season 7)

Chapter Two: I'll find you one day....

It was a busy, noisy New York city and she had to force herself up so that she could send her daughter to school. Her life had changed so much. She was a college drop-out and had abandoned everyone that she once cared about just so she could be a single mother. She had never thought that she would be a mother. That she would also have to send her child to school but here she was. Forever Young, beautiful, blonde Caroline Forbes getting ready for work.

She was about to leave the room but there the tip of her eye faced a photo of another blonde. It was Stefan. Tears filled her eyes but before it could get to her, she left.

"Rise and shine sleepy head!" She exclaimed drawing the curtain from 8 years old Angel's room.

"But mommy, I wanna sleep. I don't like school." Angel cried.

"But sweetheart, if you won't go to school then how will you grow into a strong independent young woman."

"Fine then only if you buy me ice cream!"

"You're so stubborn," Caroline smiled gleefully, "Come on. "

As Angel left the room, Care's eyes started to swell. She needed blood. She rushed to the closet, and drank a sip from a blood bag before she put it in her work bag. That blood bag would last for the whole day. She had managed to keep her secret for 7 years, she could do another dozen. Yes they would have to move every 3 years so that no one found out about her being a vampire but she had been doing it and she still could. She rushed downstairs after getting Angel ready and after breakfast she left home only to return at four.

That was how Care had lived her life for the past seven years and she liked it, she wanted everything to stay the way it was.

Back in Mystic Falls, Bonnie woke up in the bronze sky. She was still lying on the ground where Damon had left her. All of a sudden, she felt this instant hunger and this terrible pain in her jaws. She lifted her eyes up and there she saw blood all over the floor. She was so tempted to feed on it; her veins felt like sugar paper. The urge of feeding on it overwhelmed her. She really did hope that Elena Gilbert was awake now and so she drank the blood so that she could go home take the cure from Elena and they both could be happy.

Just then a shadowed figure came closer to her. He had blonde hair and a worried look on his face. She looked up and realised that it was Stefan.

"Oh my god Bonnie!" he exclaimed, "What the hell happened here?"

"It was Lily." She replied. "She forced me to drink her blood, and then Damon..... He killed me! Now I feel so hungry. Her eyes started turn red. I need Blood Stefan, I'm a vampire!" That sudden thought disturbed her. The one creature that she hated in all the world, and now she was one of them?

"Hey, look at me. Look you can fight the urge. You can control it. Breathe in and breathe out." Bonnie did exactly what Stefan told her to. "That's it, you can do it. Now you will do this every time you get the temptation to feed on someone."

"Oh my God Stefan. I'm a monster and Damon and your psycho mother did this to me." She felt this anger crawl up inside her, an anger that she had never experienced before. "But he told me that he would cure me as soon as Elena got up." She continued "Wait....Elena is back, right?

"I wished she was Bon, but no. She isn't." Stefan replied anxiously. "Either something went wrong or there's more to it...."

"Noooooo! That was our only chance. We need her back now!" Bonnie started crying. "You know a part of me thought that when Damon would get Elena back, you would Caroline back too. I've seen how much you miss her, how much I miss not having both my best friends. I thought that maybe Care would come back and everything would go back to normal.... You know, the way it was....."
