How have you been, I'm doing fine been extremely busy the past few weeks but I just wanted to write a quick email to send you a attachment of my first place metal in the school winter festival competition. I hope you saw it on tv. I know ur school is in spring but mines in winter to make it more challenging by involving the climate and onky being indoors now and than. Its tough but I did it and now I got the picture back from the photo shoot and wanted to show you it in the All Might frame you sent me for my birthday. Sorry u can't see red, white and blue strap(pertend all three have award of the position) it hiding under my mask but if we ever meet I'll show it to you in person okay. I can't wait to give you ur surprise this spring.😁😁😁😁

Todoroki gave a tiny smile at the corner of his cheeks reading the email he received while sleeping due to thirteen hours time zone difference. He had watched the UA America festival although not live he recorded it for later due to time difference and he put in overnight training. Izuku had did the same for 1st and 2nd year UA Festival in Japan. Izuku was so proud he won first this past year and he like izuke sent him the picture (below, pertend award are around necks) bakugo was pissed he came in second but it wasn't like first year when he came in first unwillingly (2nd picture below) because he refused to use his fire quirk refusing to accept it yet passing bakugo off making the win unfair in bakugo view he didn't even want the award as the reasult so this past year he accepted it despite coming in second due to him going all out with his quirk due to the talk he had with midoriya that had him accepting and using his quirk. This past year hero custome were allowed so everyone participating wore there to show who they were veres first year was training uniforms.

He immediately saved the picture to his phone but before he could write a reply bakugo who glanced over his shoukder in passing saw the picture ans grabbed his phone snapping "icey hot what the hell are you doing with my childhood friend deku picture" he snatched his phone back shocking bakugo saying "he my friend from America from the penpal allies assignment last year. We kept in touch after it ended and still are in touch now as friends. You should have participated in the extra credit assignment and requested America if you wanted a chance to talk to hero Deku in picking a few names off the list given based on matches. You didn't so thats on you and i got him since he accepted me as a penpal".

"Give me his email" bakugo demanded

"No, he doesn't like it to be handed out, I'll have to ask him and confirm if you were actually friend and he want to give it to you but give you entire oppiset personality much less your attitude I highly doubt you are. I mean he is a fan of dynamite and I sent him you one merch hoodie (below)

Bakugou hands sparked with mini explosions but and he began to curse Todoroki out but Todoroki only tuned him out as he walked out of the coffee shop to write izuku back in peace.

You look great in the picture and once more congratulations on your win. I wish I could seen it live and voted for favorite hero poles but instead I had to watch it recorded but I promis i'll be there this year will take time off since you promised to be at mine. I'm so looking forward to it and meeting you at the festival. I'll get you front row seat tickets the second tickets are available. I'm glad you like the frame as well I've found you a new limited addition all might figure and got All Might to sign it personally i've mailed it to you yesterday overnight express so u should get it today. Have you found the female Storm Hero action figure yet and maybe get her signature as well? I'm in no hurry but looking forward to it ever since you showed me top ten best herso in history to preasent I still think she the coolest of them all but unlike a few others she not available here for purchase and important is 3x's more than the purchase cost to send it here. I'm still convinced that's my surprise but wherver it is I'll still be happy.

Satisfied with the email he sent it than went about finishing his school supply shopping.

Izuku POV

He was super excited to finally land in Japan as he was getting off the plane his phone gave a bubble sound signaling a notification of Todoroki he had a look after stepping aside entering the terminal and opened the email which had him smiling big and even more giddy for his surprise of meeting with Todoroki in getting into the new student exchange program between all UA schools accross the world and he picked Japan which he was accepted no surprise with ease with their test although selective it was easier than UA America physical entrance test. His scores from his entrance exam both written and physical blew all other out of the water by a wide margin until him the record was held by his childhood friend Katsuki bakugou. The school was shocked by his results and not just that his behavior, perfect grades, honors and perfect attdance as a student not to mention successful two internships the past two years of school, choosing to miss out the third to be in the student exchange program. Also impressing his teachers in passing his provision license first try at the top as well. He was more than an modle student with a gret hero building reputation. So when he applied in the japan school as top choice he was one of three accepted in to the school for the program and the only one from America for that matter. He couldn't be more excited to be there.

He had not received the package mentioned before catching the 13 hour flight so his old homeroom teacher would have to forward it to him he sent the man a quick text telling him of it.
