Life has been so lame these years. Life is boring, my friends are even boring and I just wanted to try something new. I'm starting school soon, so why not find something that will make my life a whole big change before I start. Before starting my journey, My name is Tiffany Tran. I'm 13 years old and this year will change my whole life...

Thinking of something new? My 13 year old niece has been doing this thing called online dating. But she only does it for fun I guess, when thinking about it  I wanted to try it out. So I went on instagram, and looked at my friends highlights. I somehow saw this boy and I guess he looked kinda attractive. I clicked on this tagged thing that he got tagged on. And so I followed him straight away and waited till he accepted my request. The next day, I was surprised that he accepted my request so I texted him straight away and asked if he wanted to be my friend. It took him a while for him to reply and somehow he said yes. FOR BEING MY FRIEND I was so happy that I made an online friend. If you are wondering what's his name? His name was Matthew, he was the same age as me. Later after texting him, two other people requested to follow me and they were Matthew's friends Jassmine and Tom. They were a little weird because they texted me saying that they only followed me because I'm friends with Matthew? It didn't really matter to me because I was friends with Matthew, he was my first online friend. Me and Matthew started texting a lot and saying good mornings, goodnights and even asked what we were doing. That all felt nice into school started. My friend Jenna walked up to me at the start of school "Hey Tiffany, do you know Matthew?" my brain went BOOM "Yeah, why do you know him too?" I asked and what she said next shocked me. She told me she liked Matthew, and without thinking straight I said "I liked Matthew too, but that was a long time ago". And everything went bad ever since I told her that I liked him and everything went weird between us. A few days later I was at school and every time I would walk past her she would act weird like when I wave hi she would wave but give me a poker face like she doesn't want to wave or sometimes she doesn't even wave back at all. Everything was very weird for me so I asked her myself wondering if there is anything wrong with me that she's acting like that for the past days but in the end she didn't reply and walked off. It was the end of the day and I was unpacking my stuff in my bag, Jenna texted me *"hi Tiffany, I ask of you to stop talking to me from this day onwards, i know that you've been talking about me behind my back, and when i told you i liked Matthew, you suddenly liked him again?? I know that you talked about me to Matthew, may i ask why you did that? Can I ask why you decided to fiddle with other people's affairs? I'm really confused now, maybe i shouldn't have told you who i liked, and i'm not even close to you one bit, i don't like what you said about me Tiffany, and i hope you understand this, but i would like it if we stop being friends." and I was shocked, worried and panicking not knowing what to do. My brain was confused about what she wrote and was questioning when did I ever say those words. I was so sad that she didn't want to be friends anymore and so we stopped talking. I loved Jenna but though she didn't feel the same anymore and everything changed, my life changed and the people I knew changed. I cried so hard not knowing that losing a friend like that could hurt me so hard but somehow I moved on. After finding out that she liked Matthew I wanted to help her and Matthew fall in love. So one day I thought it would be a good idea to text him asking if he wanted to know more about Jenna or if he need help or anything about Jenna but he replied as "no it's alright" me texting Matthew like that not knowing that Jenna was rejected by Matthew a long time ago and made Jenna even more mad "can you leave me alone!" She texted me. And then I just started to ignore all of them and cry in my room. Thinking about how much my life changed ever since I ever started talking to Matthew, it was the worst because I just lost a best friend for a boy. I never thought this would ever happen to me. To be honest I wish I never knew Matthew.
