Amara was walking quickly, Jordyn barely being able to keep up with her. "Why are you walking so fast?" Jordyn questioned her friend. "Don't you dare judge the speed of my walking! You literally invited three boys in our grade to tag along with us, not only that, you accepted Mrs. Mack's request so quickly giving off the vibes of those obsessed girls earlier. They are probably so uncomfortable right now!" Amara harshly whispered, just enough so that Jordyn could hear. Jordyn sighed, starting to become annoyed.

Amara noticed the annoyed expression on her face. It was unsettling to Amara's eyes to see her best friend not pleased with her. Amara has always been a people pleaser, although it's not always by choice. She found herself getting attached to people really easily and constantly looking for approval from her family, friends, classmates, even random people she walked by. She's not an introvert by choice, shes stated plenty of times that she has wanted to be a social person but her anxiety always gets in the way.

"Why are you upset?" Amara asks, beginning to slow down. Jordyn exhaled, before looking at her friend. "I'm not mad, I just think you overthink too much. We would have seemed rude if we declined Mrs. Mack's offer so I was doing us a favor. Just calm down, and slow down, please!" Jordyn begged, aiming a smile at her while shaking Amara's arm to get her anxiousness out.

Jordyn happily gave Amara a side hug before looking around the halls confused. "Uh, I don't recognize these classrooms." Jordyn stated. This caused Amara to look around, stopping in her tracks. Nick gave a confused look to Matt and Chris. "Why did we stop?" He whispered. Matt rolled his eyes, looking away from Nick. "What did I do? I just asked a question!" Nick defended. "Have you not been listening to their entire conversation?" Matt asked irritated. "Okay first, lose the attitude. Second, no Matt, I didn't listen in on two girl's private conversation because I'm not a fucking weirdo!" He roughly whispered.

Amara turned around, facing the boys. Nick almost immediately straightened his posture in an  attempt to pretend he never spoke a word. "Sorry, we went the wrong way. P.E. is actually this way." Amara pointed behind them. "Oh no worries, I'm sure we'll still make it on time." Chris said positively. Just after he said this, they all heard the bell ring. Nick and Matt both faced Chris. "You fucking jinxed us, you idiot!" Nick said, smacking him on the arm.

"We have to make a run for it." Jordyn announced excitedly. Amara looked back at her friend with her eyes widened. "I do not care enough about P.E. to run all the way there." Amara expressed truthfully. "I'm down." Chris blurted out, causing Jordyn to smile when someone agreed with her idea. "I need to get my jitters out anyways." Matt commented, shaking his hands to get amped up. Jordyn was excited that almost everyone was getting on board with her idea, she usually just blurts out whatever comes to mind and doesn't expect anyone to agree. She's so used to people shutting her ideas down or complaining that she talks too much, which really irradiates her. But the truth is, if extroverts didn't exist, this world would be so boring; extroverts bring life to the party.

"I bet I can beat you there!" Chris challenged his brothers. Before they knew it, Jordyn took hold of Amara's hand and sprinted past the three boys. "You can't beat us if you don't know where it is!" Jordyn taunted. Chris refused to let anyone other than himself win a race against him. He signaled Matt and Nick to follow him as he ran as fast as he could. Amara was forced to run because Jordyn was dragging her, almost tripping over her own feet a countless amount of times. Eventually, Jordyn stopped in front of the doors that lead to the blacktop, sending a victorious smile towards Chris.

"I would have totally beaten you if I knew where I was going!" Chris remarked. "Mhm sure!" Jordyn grinned, loving when she wins something. "Can we just go in already!" Amara begged. She hated when she was late for a class because everyone would always stare. Jordyn nodded in agreement and opened the door. As Amara figured, everyone's head turned once they heard the door open, as in they've never seen someone late to a class before. Amara slowly stepped behind Jordyn, hiding herself from all the eyes on her. Matt softly chuckled at this because that's exactly what he used to do when he arrived late to something with Chris and Nick.
