Practice starts

We were heading to main hall.

Me and Ashley were wearing casual dress whearas Nykaa and Henry were wearing N-M school uniform.

As we entered hall the house tables were not there instead there was
many chairs. All students of water house were here except 4th year.
 
Nykaa and Henry went to Professor avlor.

There were only 7 contest
there. One topic to each.

Henry got 'Mom or Dad' and he gave a breif
explanation why he chose mom.

Now it was Nykaa's turn. She got
favorite book moment.

After her speech, Henry patted Nykaa's back.

We all came back the winner will be announced later._______

Months has went.

Nykaa had competition on house level too, now she got selected for final level.

But Me and Nykaa had a fight over puffy. She always leaves him open saying he also need freedom. I'm the one who have to clean the mess he makes.

Now she is sticking to Henry , so I'm also going with Ashley.

Half early exams are going on. everyone is busy with studies. Magical classes have been paused. 

" Last exam , and then there will be no classes! " Ashley spoke before
stuffing her mouth with sandwich.

" Holiday, we'll go back ! " Nykaa said in sadness more than happiness 

" Most of students go but magical classes will still be there " Henry
said making Nykaa take a breath of relief. 

"Nykaa ! Practice from tomorrow 10:30 till lunch! Okay ?" James came from nowhere and spoke. Nykaa gave a thumbs up as her mouth was full of sandwich.

We all went for exam.____

I was crying and others were consoling me.

“ It’s alright Nishika, you can score good in upcoming exam.” Ashley comforted

“ Look at mine and Nykaa's score. You still scored higher. ” Henry compared me with them making me cry more.

“ Will your score increase by crying!  Instead of crying find your mistakes so that you can correct them next time ! ” Nykaa blurted

“ Why are you shouting. ” I sniffed and Nykaa took a deep breath calming herself

“ You can’t be the topper always. And stop comparing your scores with others, compare them with your previous scores. ” Nykaa side hugged me. “ when you know your mistake you should correct it. Now let’s  celebrate that we at least passed out and didn’t failed in exam. Okay? ”

“ Hmm. ” I wiped my tears. _____

Next day , we all did breakfast.

Went towards back in dormitories. Me and Ashley went to library for homework.

Now we are in main ground
to watch Nykaa practicing.
I can see 7 people there most of them seems 3rd year's .
They all were listening to James very carefully.
After some minutes only 3 were there including Nykaa. They started with badminton then race. 

" What is she doing with James? " Someone spoke from behind us.
He was no other than Aaron.

" She is now one of water champions " Henry spoke with proud tone.

" She ?" Aaron said in disbelief

" Yeah, do you have any objection. " I said after getting what was
coming.

" Yeah ! I do " He replied 

" By what right ? " I said savagely making Aaron shut his mouth and
left in embarrassment.

" Wah ! Nice answer huh ! " Nykaa said to me 

" Practice done ?" I asked she nodded .

Then she wrapped her arms around my shoulders and we left to hall for lunch.

" So? What happened in practice ?" Ashley asked Nykaa as we sat in
sitting area.

" Selection. Who will play which game . I got selected for obstacle
race. " Nykaa replied

" Who are in individual games ?" Henry asked

" For badminton a second year girl Kayile . And for tennis Joseph also
from second year" She replied

" So you are the only first year ? " Ashley questioned

" Yeah! 3 third years , one first year me , 2 second year and only
fourth year is Rosemarie." Nykaa said

" If water champions won , then you will set a record. 'The only first
year to win league' " Henry spoke in excited tone

" What about next practice session? " I asked Nykaa

" My race practice will be on 9 in morning and board ball practice will be in evening 5 " She answered 

" Board ball ? " I asked in confusion

" My uncle loves board ball. It's team game played with a ball and
magical gloves.
Those gloves work like magnet, that ball will run away from your
hands. You have to use that repulsion to put the ball in basket. It's like
basketball , only the gloves and flying board makes the difference "
Ashley explained me

" You have to play on flying board" i exclaimed

" Not only this but all games are played on flying board. What were
you watching in practice" After the nervous lough of mine Henry
continued " It's all about multitasking"

" But multitasking is what Nykaa can't do " 
" That's why i got selected for race. Board ball is compulsory " Nykaa
said and we went for our dormitories
