Sports league

It's the end of our first preparation holiday week. The syllabus completed, more than 1 month is left from yearly exams.

Actually these holidays are because of sports league. Which has started today.

" Oh come on ! How much time do you take huh? " Nykaa bombard  as soon as Henry came.

" Sorry gurl ! But right now we are getting late because of you ."
Henry said and we marched towards main ground.

" Why are we even going guys!? " Ashley said

" Of course to support our house! " Henry said 

" This will be my first time watching tennis live ! " I exclaimed as soon
as i saw the ground fully ready for competition.
We went and took our
seats. The seats started floating as soon as we sat.

After a few minutes match started .

Two matches were going at a time .
Our water house was playing against Earth house.
It didn't took much time for Joseph to win the match.

After tennis , badminton started. And our house again won against Air house. 

" Why are everybody so shocked after our house's win? " Nykaa asked

" Our house is playing pretty bad since 5 years. " Ashley answered

" Our win is far , we are coming last since 5 years. But this time we have pretty good players. So they are shocked after such wins. " Henry explained 

" See the finals of tennis is getting started. " I said as i saw players coming in field.

The match is between water and earth. People are cheering like crazy.

After 2 rounds. Our house won. Students are very happy. 

" Ah! We won ! " Ashley cried

" Oh ! Come on this is our first win , there are many more left to win. You have to save some for later. " Nykaa spoke.

The badminton finale match begun. The game was getting complicated. After a long game , it ended in fire house's win.

" No way ! We lost " Henry spoke 

" The previous wins were by prayers okay ? You think you can win against us like that , huh! Never !" Aaron jumped in from earth 

" The game is still left to see , who will win . " Nykaa replied and our seats started coming to ground.

" Until you are in your group , water house will never win. " Aaron said as we all stood up from our seats

" And if we won ?" Nykaa said taking a step forward

" That if will never come true. " Aaron said and left. Nykaa also ran after him. But was interrupted " Nykaa! you know tomorrow is your race. So better be prepared at time" Miss Avlor informed Nykaa and went ._____

Nykaa was ready with her board and we was with her to motivate her.

" Nykaa , if you won you will be the only first year to ever win in league.

" Ashley said as the ground started filling up with students.

" Nykaa ! Don't forget what Aaron said. You have to win to show him ! " Henry said with aggression in his voice and i hit his arm.

" Come on guys ! You are saying like I have never participated in competition. " Nykaa spoke coolly 

" Yeah ! You even won the think and speak. But in a tie " I said in tease.

" Go back to your place " Professor Avlor suddenly spoke and we went in the audience.

In a minute the four representative were standing beside  each other.

They stood on their boards.

And in a matter of seconds the race started.
Air house guy was just some inches ahead Nykaa.
Suddenly a foot high wall came in front of them . That guy reduced his speed but Nykaa took a.45° tilt and passed the wall. It happened in second.
Even audience took some time to realise to cheer.

Now the fire house guy was couple of inches behind Nykaa. But as the other barrier came , Nykaa was again in lead. That Air house guy came again .

His speed must be good but Nykaa was very quick when barriers came. Green house boy was at the last. 

Sometimes Nykaa will be at lead another moment that Air house guy will come ahead.

The race was going to end and Air house guy was ahead of Nykaa. Suddenly a wall appear which was flying 3 foot above the ground. That guy's speed was too much he got misbalanced and felled but Nykaa quickly dogged it and won the race.

The fire house boy came just behind them. Nykaa helped that Air house guy to stand up , he didn't had any injuries. After half a minute green house guy finished.

The water house student were wild . We were also shouting . We came down, once they were given medals , we three hugged Nykaa.

Today also, like first day, 2 match were going on at a time. We three are sitting and seeing the players warming up and talking. Our house is going to play against Earth house right now. 

" Look the match started ! " Ashley exclaimed. And someone started doing commentary.

" Hey they didn't do commentary in other games " I asked Henry

" Uh , Probably we don't need commentary in other game. Do we ?"
He replied 

  The commentary ended with Water house's win.

And now started the finals between Air house and Water. After 40 minutes the 2 games ended with Air house's win.

We got a silver medal.
