Chloe's POV
Finally.
Its finally lunch. Demi and I only had one class together since she's a year older than me. She's really the most amazing person I've met. She even told me that I would be meeting her boyfriend tonight at the 'Annual First Dance' which she is making me go to.

I sighed as Demi pulled me away from the lunch line after getting our food and walked towards an empty table.
She took the seat on the other side of the table so that we were facing each other.
"So, what are you going to wear tonight?" She asked while taking a bite of her burger.
"I don't know" I said while shrugging.
"Well I'm going to help you get ready tonight. You can even borrow one of my dresses" she stated.
"No-no you don't have to-" I started but she cut me off.
"Of coarse I do. That's what friends are for" she said and I couldn't help but smile.

A few minutes went by as we ate and I had this weird feeling that someone was staring at me but I just shook the feeling.
"Hey....uhm, Chloe?" Demi said making me look away from my plate of food.
"Yeah?" I mumbled with a mouth full of food.
"There is a guy who keeps staring at you" she said making me chuckle a little.
"Nah I doubt that, maybe he's staring at you" I said while shrugging my shoulders.
"No-no he is staring at you" she stated while looking behind me.
I sighed as I shifted my body and turned my head scanning the cafeteria. I was about to tell her that she was just imagining things, but then my eyes landed on Dylan's.We held each others gaze for a while until the girl that he was making out earlier today sat next to him and grabbed his attention.
I turned back in my seat and I could just feel my heart ache. I thought that after all this time I could be over him but I guess not.
"Do you guys know each other?" Demi asked while resting her arms on the table and leaning in so that she was a little closer.
"We went to high school together" I said like it doesn't matter.
"Is that it?" She asked making groan quietly.
"No. He and his mom live with my mom and me" I said.
"And?" She asked making me roll my eyes.
I was going to tell her to leave it alone when the bell rang making me sigh in relieve.

"Wow" I muttered as I looked at myself in the body length mirror.
"Are you ready?" Demi asked as she walked out of the bathroom. When her eyes landed on me she stopped dead in her tracks.
"Oh my god, Chloe. You look amazing" she gushed with a bright smile on her face which I gladly return.
"Thanks" I mumbled as I grabbed my clutch and walk over to the door with Demi following.
"Are you exited?" She asked with a happy tone.
"I guess" I said not really interested.
"Come on Chloe. You look amazing. Don't be surprise if a few guys tries to make a move on you tonight" she said while winking at me and I couldn't help but chuckle at the thought.
"Who knows, maybe that guy from lunch would try something" she said with a smirk on her face. My smile faded as I remembered Dylan. What if he's there. My night would certainly horrible when I see him and that girl again.

At this moment I just want to run back to the dorm and cry my eyes out, but I have to be strong. Make him believe that I've moved on from my past and that he doesn't mean anything to me.
Just remembering everything we have been through breaks my heart. All the kisses on the cheeks, the hugging the cuddling all the good things that have happened.

But then there is the bad. The fact that he actually kissed Selena. Maybe that was the only reason she was hanging out with me or worse, maybe that's the reason HE was hanging out with me.
Thinking about that makes things so much clearer right now. Neither of them wanted to be my friends. They were only using me. God I'm an idiot. I can't believe I haven't realized this before.

As of this moment, Dylan means absolutely nothing to me.
