Chapter 5

Dylan's POV
I still can't believe I said those stuff. Why would I say that Samantha isn't a slut when I know she is? God I'm so pathetic right now. Those feeling I had for Chloe came rushing back when I saw her the first day. All kinds of emotions ran through my head. But now, I fucking screwed up. AGAIN.
If I keep doing this to her, I will never get her to feel the same way as I'm feeling right now. I honestly just want to back my head against a wall. And the worst part about this is that she caught me and Samantha last night. I felt so ashamed. It really isn't a pleasant feeling when the girl you're in love with finds you fucking your slut of a girlfriend. I wouldn't mind if she hates me at the moment, because I sure as hell do.

Chloe's POV
"Where did you run off to last night?" Demi asked as she took a seat at the lunch table I was sitting at.
"Honestly, I got bored" I said making her nod her head.
"Well, did someone at least ask you to dance?" She asked with a small smile on her lips.
"Yeah" I answer while looking down at my hands.
"Did you dance with anyone then?" She asked and I slowly nodded my head.
"With who?" She asked curious
"Just someone" I said while looking up at her.
"Is it maybe the guys who was staring at you yesterday?" She asked with a smirk on her face.
"Yes" I sighed and her smirk just grew bigger.
"And, how was it?" She asked.
"It was fine until his girlfriend showed up" I answered honesty and my heart just aches when I say his girlfriend.
"Oh, I'm sorry" she said as her smile slowly faded.

It was silent for a while until I heard the chair across the table screech. I looked up to see a guy kissing Demi on the cheek.
"Hey babe" he said while smiling at her.
"Hey" Demi said in a happy tone. "Chloe this is my boyfriend Joe . Joe this is my new friend Chloe" she said.
"Hi" we both said at the same time making all of us chuckle.
"Sorry I'm late guys" I heard someone say from behind me.
"Nah its fine dude" Joe said.
I turned around in my seat and a smile immediately grew on my face. Mason looked at me and raised an eyebrow.
"And who is this?" He asked while taking a seat next to me. I couldn't help but chuckle a little making.
"Oh Mason , this is Chloe. Chloe, Mason" Demi said while geturing between us.
"Have I met you before?" Mason asked with a confused face.
"Do I really look that different?" I asked.
"I was the girl you spend your time on at the carnival a few months ago" I said. Mason's eyes went wide as he looked at me.
"Oh my god. You've change so much since I last saw you" he said making me giggle a little.
"So, how are you?" I asked making him frown a little.
"I've been better" he mumbled making me furrow my eyebrows.
"Why? What happened?" I asked.
"Well my girlfriend and I broke up" he said while looking down at his hands.
"What, why?" I asked.
"Well when I got back I found her in bed with someone else and ever since we've broken up I saw her with a few others but now she actually has a boyfriend" he said as his voice cracked at the end.
"Mason, I'm so sorry" I said. I looked up to see that neither Demi nor Joe was here.
"Don't be. I think it was for the best" he said with a small smile on his face.
"So tell me Chloe. Why on earth would you change your hair colour" he said making me laugh a little.
"I just wanted a change" I replied.
"Well the look suits you better" he said with a huge smile on his face and I could just feel my cheeks heating up.

"So you and Mason?" Demi asked with a smirk on her face.
"We're just friends Demi" I said as I placed my books next to me on the bed.
"Sure you are" she said while wiggling her eyebrows.

Dylan's POV
Sitting here and watching those two smiling and talking to each other is seriously pissing me off right now.
God, I want to punch that smile off of that guys face. I sighed as the bell rang. I quickly got up from the chair and sprinted out of the cafeteria. Since I have a free period I went back to my dorn room and harshly slammed the door open before I collapsed onto my bed.

Chloe's POV

To: Chloe
From: Mason

Are you hungry?

To: Mason
From: Chloe

Of course

To: Chloe
From: Mason

Wanna go grab something?

To: Mason
From: Chloe

Sound gr8. See ya outside

I smiled as I got up from my bed and walk over to the door.
"Where are you going?" Demi asked while taking her eyes off of the movie she was watching with Joe.
"I'm just going to grab some food with Mason" I said and I could see the smile forming on her face.
"Have fun" she called as I closed the door behind me.

Dylan's POV
"Where are you going?" I asked Mason. Yes, the MASON- who is officially my roommate and who I found out if Samantha's ex.
"I'm grabbing something to eat with Chloe" he said as he put on his jacket.
I heart clenched at that as I comprehend what he just said.
"Mind if I come" I asked not wanting them to be together. ALONE.
"Sure" he said while scratching the back of his neck.
"Thanks" I mumbled as I grabbed my jacket and walked out of the dorm room beside him.
