Chloe's POV
I stared in amazement as Dylan and I walked hand in hand into the entrance of the funfair. My eyes scanned the whole area as I took it all in. This place was huge and all the lights were so illuminating.
"Where do you wanna go first" Dylan asked as we walked.
"I wanna go on that" I said as I pointed to the yellow and blue rollercoaster .
I watch as Dylan's eyes lit up as he looks at the rollercoaster.
"I would've thought a girl would be to scared to go on a rollercoaster as big as that" he said as we walked towards the front of the line.
"Well I'm not like any other girls" I said as I placed my hand on my hip.
"Of course not. Their just normal girls while your my girl" he said with a sly grin on his face making me scoff.
"You're so cheesy, you know that" I said as the guy running the ride escorts us to take a seat, which we took in the front.
"Only for you" Dylan said making me stick my tongue out at him."Wow that was so awesome" I said out of breath as Dylan and I walked out the gates of the rollercoaster.
"God I think I've literally just fallen for you" Dylan said making me crack up at what he meant.
"Yeah, dude I think my hearing isn't that great after you practically screamed my ear of" I said as Dylan and I started walking around.
"Hey, its not my fault. I practically stared death right in the eye" he exclaimed making me roll my eyes.
"Don't be so dramatic" I said as I looked at him in pure amusement.
"Its not being dramatic, its called being realistic" he stated as he stuck his tongue out at me.
"You're a child" I mumbled.
"What was that? I didn't quite hear you" he said as he stopped making me bump into him.
"I didn't say anything" I said emphasising the word 'anything'.
"Hmm, I thought I heard you call me a child" he said with a raised eyebrow.
"I never said anything like that. You are a mature adult" I said with a smirk on my face. Dylan scoffed, shaking his head.
"That's just mean" he said poking out his bottom lip into a pout.
"You just proved my point" I said as I pat his cheek and started walking away.
"Hey I'm not done with this conversation" Dylan said from beside me as he grabbed my hand .
"Well I am" I stated as we kept walking past a few rides, games and food carts. My eyes widened when I saw my favourite game.
"Come on" I said as I dragged Dylan over to the ring toss. I grabbed some money from my bag and handed it over to the guy.
"What are you doing?" Dylan asked as the guy gave me the rings.
"I'm about to win myself a teddy bear" I answered like it was the most obvious thing. I watched as Dylan took his money out of his wallet and handed it to me before taking the rings from my hand.
"I'm the guy here, so that means I'm the one who should win you the teddy bear" he said with furrowed eyebrows.I giggled as Dylan once again tried to toss the ring onto the bottle cap but failed miserably.
"Let me try" I said as I grabbed the rings from Dylan tossing it before he could say anything. My eyes lit up when I through the third one.
"What prize would you like" the guy asked and I just pointed to the teddy bear I had my eye on. A wide smile crept onto my face as I grabbed the teddy from the guy and held it close to my chest. I slowly turned towards Dylan to see him glaring at the bottles.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"I was suppose to win you that bear" he said as he turned his head towards me and looked down at the teddy bear in my hands.
"You can't always win in everything" I said as I took his hand in mine and started walking again.
"Yeah, but I'm the guy here. You aren't suppose to win these things for yourself." He said and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"What? Why are you laughing?" He asked with furrowed eyebrows.
"You're so cute" I said as I lightly pecked his cheek and continued walking."So, what do you want to do now?" Dylan asked as he swung our hands back and forward.
"Well, I am hungry" I said as I notice a pizza parlour. Dylan smiled at me as he notice what I was getting at before pulling me with him. Dylan pulled me up to the parlour and scanned the menu. Dylan ordered our pizza and once it was finally done he walked me over to a small table."Let's go on the ferris wheel" Dylan said as we through our pizza boxes away. I vigorously shook my head making him chuckle slightly.
"So you're afraid to go on the ferris wheel but not the rollercoaster?" He asked with raised eyebrows.
"That's only because the ferris wheel is higher than the rollercoaster" I stated.
"Yeah but the rollercoaster is more dangerous. Now come on" he said and pulled me up to the line.Once it was finally our turn, I hesitantly got into the cart. My body jolted out of fear as the wheel began to turn.
"Come here" Dylan said as he patted the space beside him. I carefully took a step and quickly took a seat. Dylan wrapped his arm around my shoulders making me res my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes as we got to the very top, to afraid to open them and see how high we really were.
"Open your eyes Chloe, this view is amazing" Dylan said but I just shook my head.
"Please?" He begged. I took a deep breath and slowly opened my eyes. I gasped at the view in front of me."Wow" I muttered in amazement.
It was silent for a while. Dylan and I just looking at the view as he drew patterns on my arm.
"I'm sorry" he suddenly said making me furrow my eyebrows. I pulled away from him and just looked him in the eyes.
"For what?" I asked a little confused.
"For your mom. She was really a great person" he said. A smile crept onto my face at the sincerity in his voice.
"You don't have to apologise. No one can live forever" I said making him smile at me.
