The area containing shelves upon shelves of food was the only room I'd deemed incomparable to every other one I'd seen.

A part of me believed it was created for the sole purpose of becoming the eating area and food storage room just for this game even though I'd known it was built long before this game was created.

The room was complete with plenty of shelves stacked with food that would seemingly last a lifetime (I suppose I was just so shocked to have seen food not months past its expiry date I hadn't been thinking entirely straight for the excitement of eating food not touched by old age excited me). However, it did make me realise the games expectation - or false hope it tried to inject into players - regarding how long the game would last.

There had been food stacked upon the floor too and it was seemingly endless, the sheer amount of it made my stomach rumble and the makeshift food I'd had since my arrival was incomparable now.

The lights were overhead in white tinted square shaped strips that reached over every row of tables and chairs illuminating the room well, it shed light on the bright packaging of numerous foods but also the dark grey walls and floors incomparable to the countless colours stacked on shelving.

"By the way I'm Ippei" Announced the man in overalls, he'd taken a seat beside Chishiya who was now looking around intensely at every player in the room. Ippei smiled as he looked between Chishiya and I who seated ourselves away from the main group of people we'd joined as a group.

Urumi decided it was time for everyone to have a break and she'd deemed the food room perfect, she also controlled eating times and stated clearly that as of currently people should only drink and eat snacks before they ate as a group in further rounds because she wasn't hungry as of currently... everyone around her was being played and I thought that was awfully interesting.

"Nice to meet you Ippei" I said upon noticing the way Chishiya stared silently to Banda who was scanning the shelves and I couldn't help but come to the finalisation Chishiya hadn't planned on replying anytime soon. "I'm y/n" I introduced watching Ippei nod excitedly as if thrilled to even know my name, "That's Chishiya" I said directing my eyes in his direction.

"Chishiya" Ippei said, looking to Chishiya with a soft smile and I fiddled with the straw to my drink quietly, "He's cool" Ippei nodded lightly, smiling excitedly, "A little scary too"

"He can be like that sometimes" I chuckled gently, amused entirely with Ippei's words and I'd known he was stating what a handful of people thought about him.

"That's because I play the games carefully" Chishiya said, grunting as he leant back a little and tapped over the drink ahead of him. Ippei looked to him attentively the moment he spoke and it was nice to know someone deemed Chishiya so admirable. "Look over there" Chishiya said, placing his hands on the table and tapping over the lid of his drink.

I'd leaned closer to him, following the finger he'd extended to point at the small group that formed the moment the game begun and the two males spoke to the individual female softly as they chuckled amongst one another; they seemed close knitted already.

"What about them?" Ippei said softly, leaning in too, he'd placed his shoulders on the table and mirrored Chishiya's actions to the best of his abilities.

As if planned, both Chishiya and I looked towards Ippei who was closer than I'd realised, his eyes were drowning in an acute excitement (Obviously excited to understand how Chishiya would play the game), however, the moment we glanced to him Ippei let his soft smile fall and he'd presented an apologetic look as he looked between us.

"Sorry" He whispered, embarrassed, letting his head fall and he'd offered to move away as he let his body cower.

"It's fine" I said hastily. I wanted Ippei to become apart of our team because I trusted him, Ippei had a kind soul, a kind heart, his obvious want for inclusion reminded me of Tatta and Ippei's desire to feel like he was being smart also reminded me of Tatta.
