Chapter 2

I'm on my way home and I get a text from John's friend. He says
"Hey its John's friend Dean. Sorry if I'm disturbing I just wanna say hi and I think you're awesome. It would be nice to get to know you better tho so umm later then! Bye."
"He seems so nice and shy and he's cute too but he has a girlfriend but I'll just give it a shot" I said to myself. Let me send a text back tho.
"Hey Dean hows it going. I'm April. Nice to meet you although we didn't talk. I'll call you as soon as I get home. Bye☺."
I got home. Rushed to my room dialed his number it rang and guess who picked it. His girlfriend!! She says " who the fuck are you what do you want with Dean don't you ever call again. In your life! Bye now."
I don't know why but tears filled my eyes. I don't know what's going on. I don't know if I'm having feelings for him. I'm just confused!!
I wiped the tears off my face put a smile on my face and went downstairs. Told my mum I was going to Emily's house and she said be back at 6!
Got to Emily's house told her what happened and she told me not to worry. I expressed what I thought was wrong with me and she said I am getting feelings for him. I asked her how to get ridd of it she said I can't. I told her I hate love and she said you have to experience it!
It was 5:30 I left Emily's house on my way home guess who called yes it was Dean. He said
"Hey I'm so sorry about Ashley. I was gonna pick up but she snatched it from me. I'm sooooo sorry April. Please don't be angry." I told him
"I'm not angry. It was just so shocking that she picked up. I'll text you when I get home."
He apologized such a gentleman! I thought.☺☺
