I drove Y/N to work since she lived quite far away, I lived closer to the office than they did. We walked into work together, our hands clasped tight as we strutted into work with people gawking at us. I guess that were shocked that big daddy Barney can pull some bitches after all. I looked around, my pride getting the best of me. Out of the corner of my eye I saw one of my enemies. Megamind. I have always hated Megamind. Ever since we were kids. He was always the friendly type, I never liked it, it threw me off guard every time he would act like that. I hate it. Y/N saw me glaring at the big blue forehead and spoke up, "Who's that?" "No one you should be worried about beautiful." I said with a rather harsh tone. ___________________________
I had a big offer on our products today, so I dropped Y/N off at her cubicle and gave them a deep kiss. I then headed to my office to meet the person who wanted my precious condoms.
I walked into my office and was immediately greeted by a blue shiny head.
You've got to be fucking kidding me.
"Barney! It's been a while old friend; you've really grown since I last saw you. Wow time really does fly fast." I put on a fake smile and gave him a little handshake. I was not pleased with him wanting my condoms. Why does he even want them anyway?
"So, I called you because I want your condoms. I think we know that already." I nodded wanting to get the hell out of here. "And because of this I will give you 100,000 dollars for 500 condoms." I didn't know how to feel about it. I really wanted to do the offer, but a part of me said no. I sighed and talked, "I will need some time to think about this, I will contact you shortly.
He then stood up and told me thank you for talking about it and left.
Not long after he left, I got a knock on my door. I was expecting Y/N and their beautiful smile that always brightens my day, but instead I was met with a devilish smirk of Clarrisa Worthington.
"Why hello their Barney...~ I heard your dating that whore Y/N? I bet they can't please you like I will~." "Clarrisa why the hell are you here?" I said rubbing my forehead in annoyance. "I just wanted to make you feel good...you have seemed quite stressed lately and I just wanted to help you~."
At this point she's getting very close to me. I didn't know what to do, I just froze up.
And that's when she pulled on my tie enough to pull me in for a kiss.
But once she stopped to catch her breath, I felt Clarrisa being pulled off me and her yelling, "What the hell!?" After all that, I felt a sharp pain on my cheek. And that pain was from a very angry Y/N.
"ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS RIGHT NOW BARNEY?! HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING ME THIS WHOLE TIME? YOU SAID YOU LOVED ME." Their eyes began to well up with tears. I stumbled with my words trying to explain that I didn't kiss her, and that Clarrisa did without even asking. "Y/N, baby please listen! I-" It was no use I was slapped again, and she stormed out and brought back a familiar individual.
Megamind. "IF YOU DON'T FUCKING LOVE ME, I'LL START WITH SOMEONE NEW. RIGHT NOW." And just like that they kissed him. Right on the damn lips. I was so enraged. "FUCK THIS Y/N. YOU DON'T WANNA LISTEN TO ME, FINE YOU'RE FIRED. NOW GET OUT NOW. YOU TOO MEGAMIND."
Their eyes wided with the two words 'you're fired.' Real tears began to roll down the beautiful cheeks I once kissed. they gathered themselves together and stormed off to their car. Clarrisa on the other hand was grinning wildly.
I then got hit with regret and shame. I crumpled into my desk chair and sighed.
Why am I such a fool?
