Feelings

Barney's POV

I watched Y/N walk out of the room feeling bad for them as people began to laugh as they left the room.

I quieted my workers, but tiny snickers were heard.

Clarrisa, one of my best workers was snickering. I had a feeling that she had something to do with Y/N's presentation.

"Attention everyone, the meeting will continue tomorrow. Go back to your offices."

Once everyone was gone I walked outside to see Y/N.

I found them curled up in one of the nearby chairs crying. It made my heart hurt for them.

"Hello Y/N, please follow me to my office, we'll discuss things in there."

They stand up slowly, their head hanging low. I caught a glimpse of their eyes. They were beautiful. Besides the redness due to crying.

Once we were inside me and Y/N took a seat.  I couldn't take my eyes off them. They were...breathtaking.

I stared at them for a while gaining every detail of their face then spoke, "So, you're presentation was not on the computer anywhere?"

"Yes sir. I checked everything. There was no sign of it. But I swear that I did it!"

"I believe that you did. You have been an outstanding employee."

I notice that their cheeks flush red. It was adorable.

"Anyway, do you have any idea who could've removed it?"

They pause for a moment and continue, "Clarrisa. We were ex best friends and we have each other our passwords for everything."

I knew it. That slut must have done it. Someone better be expecting a demotion.

"Thank you for telling me Y/N, I'll talk to her about it."

I smile and without even realizing, I grab their hand and firmly hold it.

I zone into their eyes memorized about their beauty.

After noticing that I was holding their hand, I immediately let go and started to apologize.

Y/N giggles and stares into my eyes. "I'll be heading home now, thank you for trying to help me."

They smile a adorable smile that could make anyone fall in love. "Your welcome Y/N, if you have any troubles again I will be glad to help you with them."

They wave goodbye and walk out the door.

I begin to think about them and just how perfect they are. Their smile, eyes, body, everything about them is beautiful.

I'm getting feelings for one of my workers.

I walk into my apartment with butterflies swarming my stomach.

He held my hand! He did! I wish I could just rewind to that moment.

I toss my clothes into my laundry basket and get into the warm shower that was waiting for me.

The warm water hitting my skin gave me goosebumps. I began to think about his hands wrapping around my waist.

That's whenever I finally realize that I have major feelings for my boss.
