𝐶𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑎𝑔𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑃𝑟𝑜𝑡𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛

Matt's Pov:
"Now tell me what happened.."
Gus said.
"Well.. my dad.. he's.. been drinking a lot, and I tell him to stop, but, he never listens.. and he's really abusive, and we got in a bit of a fight, and.. I mentioned my mom's death and.. he punched me.." I say, tearing up.
Gus hugged me.
"I'm so sorry." Gus whispered in my ear.
I sob in his arms.
Gus holds me close and he scoots up with me to the front of the bed and lays down with me, with his arm rapped around me.

I blush.

Honestly, Gus has been so sweet to me, and I feel so safe around him.. I can't beileve he's doing all of this for me.
I cuddle up next to him and dig my head in his chest.
