Chapter 3: 1st day

You and Xavier arrive to your first class, botany. Xavier invites you to his table, where you see an empty seat next to him. "You can sit next to me if you want". Xavier says. "Are you sure?". You say. "Of course, I have been sitting by myself for the 1st and 2nd semester". Xavier says. "Ok". You say.

You answer all of the questions that Ms. Thornhill asked. You started to get bored, so you looked over at Xavier to see what he was doing. He was drawing a spider. He put his hand over it, and it came alive. "I don't think that y/n is interested in your art at the moment, Mr. Thorpe". Ms. Thornhill says. "Come on, you must be amused by my art skills". Xavier says as you smack the spider on the table, so it turns into dust. Xavier's smile fades into a frown as the whole class laughs.

The bell suddenly rang. "Time for our extra curricular activity". Xavier says. "Which activity did you pick?" You say. "I picked archery, I am the only one in that activity". Xavier says. "Well if it makes you feel better, I will join archery with you". You say with a smile. "Ok, let's go before we are late". Xavier says with a smile, as he grabs your hand and drags you to the archery ring. When you and Xavier get to the archery ring, he shows you have to hold and shoot the bow and arrow. You both talk about how boring botany class was. As you look at the time, you notify Xavier that it is almost time for you next class. He gives you a nod, putting his bow and arrow away.

"I will see you after school, I guess". Xavier says. "Ok, see you later, bye". You say with a smile. "Bye". Xavier says as he slips a note into your hand. You watch him walk away. As soon as he is out of your vision, you open the note. It says: " we need to talk, it's really important, meet me in my dorm at 8:00pm sharp. Don't be late! 🙂". All you do is smile as you make you way to your next class.

I tried to spice up the chapters a little, not to much yet tho! 🤭
