Nappa knew the instant the prince returned to Earth. In the middle of running an errand for ChiChi—gathering firewood by punching trees down and cutting them up later—he froze mid-strike, a large tree in front of him. In the sea of many kis that arrived, the prince's stood out the most. Stronger than before. Alive.
He shot off into the sky, right towards ChiChi's home. Within a few minutes, he found her folding laundry outside, humming a small tune to herself.
"Lady ChiChi!" She looked up at him, a flicker of dread flashing across her face. That fear disappeared when she shouted, "They're back! They're home!"
She dropped her laundry, cheering, "Oh thank the gods!" ChiChi lifted her arms up towards him. "Let's go!"
He swooped down and gathered her up into his arms easily, flying in the direction of Vegeta's ki as fast as possible.

In the heart of West City, Tien, Yamcha and Raditz sat around a table outside a fast food restaurant. One half of the table remained clean and neat. The other half—a complete pigsty, courtesy of Raditz and the mountains of milkshakes, burgers and fries he devoured.
Yamcha gawked at him the whole time, his half eaten burger getting cold. Tien idly sipped on the straw to his drink with a bored expression.
The moment multiple kis arrived to Earth, both Yamcha and Tien bolted upright, Tien dropping his drink, Yamcha almost jumping out of his seat.
Raditz froze mid-bite. He blinked a few times, a muffled "huh?" A quick check of the biggest ki that stood out the most, and he smiled as wide as he could with his insanely stuffed cheeks. Chunks of burgers and fries flew out as he shouted, "Hey hey, it worked!" He turned to Tien and Yamcha, spraying food into their faces. "Vegeta's home! Alright!"
They loomed over Raditz, yelling at the same time: "SWALLOW YOUR FOOD!"
Cowering a little, Raditz followed through, his cheeks returning to normal. He gave a sheepish grin, scratching the back of his head. "Oops. Sorry."
Yamcha sighed, shaking his head. Tien rolled his eyes, muttering, "He is definitely Goku's brother."
Raditz growled, "Why does everyone keep saying that?!"

ChiChi didn't need any ki to know where her son was. Flying over an empty field with scattered lush trees, she picked Gohan out of a sea of Piccolos and Kamis, looking like his father with the way he scratched his head, all confused. Her vision welled up with tears as Nappa headed towards Gohan, the tears finally falling once they touched down.
Nappa didn't even have to release her. She hopped out of his arms, rushing right towards her baby. "Gohan!" She laughed at his shocked face, also so much like his father. His smile too. "Gohan!!"
"Mama!"
"Oh sweetheart!" She skidded to her knees and flung her arms around him, burying her face into his hair, a tight embrace Gohan returned. As much as she wanted to sob in relief, her happiness and joy at seeing her baby again outweighed the need to cry. She whispered into his ear as she rocked him back and forth, "You're home. You're safe."
"Welcome home, Gohan," Nappa said from behind her. "Or as we say in Sadalan, 'Wakale pu'e.'"
ChiChi came to her feet with a smile at the sound of Raditz's familiar shout of, "Ayyyy! Gohan!!" She kept a hand on Gohan's upper back as the tall, burly Saiyan made his way over, Tien and Yamcha following behind him. "You followed my advice!"
Gohan tilted his head. ChiChi blinked. Nappa raised an eyebrow.
Raditz gestured towards them, coaxing out a response, one that by the looks of it, all of them should've known.
