'Would anyone ever actually stop judging me by my figure?' I thought to myself. The bathroom door creaked open and I looked up to see some sleazy girl dragging a dark haired boy into a stall. I realized it was Xavier Collings, the most popular guy in school, and the girl must of been his current slut of the week. The girl glared at me before I rolled my eyes and walked out of the bathroom, finding Lucy at her locker.
“Drew, I’ve been looking all over for you.” She said, looking up at me after shoving her books in her locker. “We only have two classes left now.”
I looked away, avoiding eye contact. “I.. um.. got distracted I guess.” I lied. I heard her sigh before she reached out and grabbed my arm. “I’m fine, really.” I said, shrugging her off. “Some sleaze totally walked into the bathroom and is putting it all on Mr. Popular.”
She scoffed. “Some people just have no class.” I nodded, opening my own locker which was next to hers. “I suppose we should finish the day.” I giggled. ‘Well whatever was left of the day, anyway.’ Lucy agreed and we headed towards the one class I hated most; trigonometry.
'Why was this class ever invented?' I asked myself.
Trig went by quickly, seeing as I seemed to be lost in my thoughts.
'Was I really just thinking about Mr. Populer?' A little pathetic right? He's a total man whore.
Lucy pulled me from my thoughts. "Need a ride home today? I'm never sure if you walk or take the bus." She continued.
I smiled. "No thanks. I'll just walk." I said. 'Besides, it wouldn't kill me to loose some of this weight.'
"If you insist." She said. "I'll text you." And with that she was off.
I really didn't understand why she was my friend.
Lucy was really pretty. She was blonde, had beautiful blue eyes, long legs, perfect shaped lips. She was just a freaking goddess!
'Why would someone that pretty be friends with someone as disgusting as me?'
That thought lingered as I started my journey home.
As I crossed a main road, a heard honking and the squeling of a tire breaking too hard. "What the h-.." I was cut off as I felt something ram into the left side of my body, and then I saw only darkness.
