June 2nd 1994 8:42 PM Oh my god, today's been a disaster. My hand is shaking as I write this. Me, Joel and Percy are horrified after what we just experienced. Ok, let me explain what the hell happened.
We were at Knapford with the mail train, ready to set off soon, when all of a sudden, Gordon comes up next to us, but to our horror, his pupils had turned an orange colour, with black dots in the middle of them and orange cracks all over this face. He had some sort of device attached to him, a ringing noise came from it which nearly sent Me, Joel and Percy into a deep sleep, but before we succumbed to the device's control, we were interrupted by a whistle blaring in the distance. We all came back to our senses after hearing the loud noise, and that's when Edward rushed in, he had a utility van in front of him and he rammed it straight into Gordon. This caused Gordon's front wheels to derail.

Suddenly, Murdoch rushed by with a long goods train, going in the direction of Tidmouth. Edward shouted at us to make a run for it while we had the chance. I released Percy's brakes and we shot down Thomas' branchline. We passed Bertie's shed, Bertie was no where to be seen. As we raced down the branch we see the stations and towns have been raided by people who were armed head to toe. When they saw us, they began shooting at us, one of the bullets hit Percy's right cheek, Percy yelled out in pain but knew he couldn't stop, or else we wouldn't live to see another day.

We then saw Thomas with Annie and Clarabel, they were heading in the direction of Knapford. We shouted at Thomas to reverse but neither Thomas nor his Driver, Bob and Fireman, Chris heard us. God I hope they're ok. We thundered down the line until we reached Elsbridge. The station, unlike the ones on Thomas' branch, had been completely deserted. We slowly backed Percy into a goods shed, poor engine was scared out of his mind, and in a lot of pain from that bullet. Joel and I examined Percy to make sure he was alright, the bullet caused a scar on his cheek, but other than that he's ok, just badly shaken up by the whole thing. Just then, we heard the sound of a whistle, we then saw Douglas speeding through Elsbridge Station with a Goods Train, there was a helicopter hot on his tail. Luckily, the helicopter didn't see us and Percy. Douglas didn't notice us either, understandable since he's running for his life. I hope Douglas is alright, I don't know what the hell is going on, and why a helicopter is chasing after him, but I'm terrified.

I really hope that everyone else is ok. I wonder what happened with Gordon, is this linked to how weird he's been acting lately? We'll search for more people and engines who could've survived this nightmare later. We're only 2 days through a new month and this has happened, I hope we can get to the bottom of this.
