As Sanji is done cooking, he places the food on the table and gives some drinks to everyone. Ren asked for plain water, so Sanji just gave her water.
Everyone starts digging into the food, and Luffy asks while stuffing his face with meat, "Hey Rennie, why were you in a barrel?"
"Oh, that small tiny barrel? Well, I actually don't know. Hmm.." Ren says and thinks to herself.
"Well, do you remember anything? Like from before?" Usopp asks.
"Not really, I just remember this figure hitting me on the head and giving me a headache. Then, I feel pain around my body and got dragged and put in this barrel. While I was getting dragged, I actually heard some screams that was calling my name. I don't know who and can't remember who it was." Ren says, eating her meal.
"Well, lets just continue explaining those later." Franky says, drinking a cola bottle.

"Okay, so explain. Who are you?" Zoro asks drinking some booze.
"Well, I am a former captain of the Skull Bar Pirates." Ren says, eating a desert.
"Wait, didn't the Skull Bar Pirates, or so called Skull Soul Pirates disappear 4 or 3 years ago?" Robin asks while Chopper is on her lap.
"Yes. I will tell you all about it right now."
Back in 3 years..
"Cap'n Renson-cu! There is a strong current right now-cu!" A voice screams out, pulling onto the rope holding the flag up.
"Somebody take the helm! We have to get to safety everyone!" Ren calls out.
"Captain! There is a big wave!!" Another person screams as the other mates run around trying to save each other.
"EVERYONE! GET TO COVE-" Ren calls out, but the wave catches their ship, destroying it.
Ren couldn't move, until someone took their hand and got them out of the wave quickly. She couldn't open her eyes that well, but she saw a glimpse. A glimpse of black hair and a... hat? They even had a necklace.
They go on the sand, and Ren gets placed down onto the land. "Mh.... What happened... Where is my crew...?" Ren says tiredly. "Are you okay?" The mysterious man answers.
"Where is my crew? And my ship?" "I'm sorry, but your ship has been swept away from a storm."
"B-but my crewmates.. th-they are still alive right..?" "I didn't see anyone else but you." The man just sat there with her.
"No... that can't be. I PROMISED THEM THAT WE WOULD GO TO THE NEW WORLD! W-WE WOULD HAVE WENT AND EXPLORED NEW AREAS!"
Ren tries to get up, but is stopped by the man.
"You can't go back! They are gone already!" He says, trying to pin her to the ground and stop her from going to the ocean.
"NO! THEY ARE STILL THERE!" "I told you, they are GONE! I'M SORRY, OKAY?!"
The man lets go of Ren, and she just sheds tears and punches the sand and hits her head on the sand.
"NO, NO, NO! BUT WHAT ABOUT.... WHAT ABOUT..... What about.... Genjicu?! Hijoki?! MY COMMANDERS ON MY SHIP! THEY WERE MY BEST FRIENDS!" "......"
"HEY...! ANSWER M-ME!"
The man stares at Ren, making a little frown.
"They are gone, aren't they?" Ren says, shedding so much tears and facing the man.
She has a big frown on her face, and tears burst out of her eyes.
"WAHHHAAAA!" They let out a scream, crying uncontrollably.
"WHY DID YOU ONLY SAVE ME?! I SHOULD HAVE DIED! I SHOULD HAVE DIED WITH THEM...!"
"Hey, don't regret living. I know, you lost your crew mates. I lost one of mine too. You should keep living! Don't die with regrets!" He says calmly, smiling at her.
Ren clings onto the mysterious man, hugging him. "It's okay. You have other people, see! Don't forget them! Just keep smiling and you'd ought to be fine!" He says, and pats her head.
She looks up at the stranger and smiles in sadness and guilt, but happiness at the same time.
"Well, I am Portgas D. Ace. What is your name?" Ace says, going on his boat. "I am Senko C. Ren. You can call me Renson if you'd like." Ren answers and bows. "I am in your debt."
"Heh, alright 'Renson.' I'm going to head off now. Here's a transponder snail if you ever need some help. And remember, don't die with regrets and keep giving smiles to everyone! Be yourself!" Ace says, going away on his boat.
Ren holds up a photo of Genjicu, Hijoki, and her.

"Hope you guys are gonna watch over me if you are even dead. I'll remember you all forever." Ren says, and puts it back into her pouch as she goes to make a raft and go back to her home island.
Present Time
"And yea. That is what happened." Ren says softly, and sighs as she smiles at the crew.
"...Wow. That was a lot of info to take in." Nami says and sighs.
"So that's why they went missing. I'm sorry about that." Robin says and smiles at her.
Usopp, Franky, and Chopper start bawling. "OW! THAT WAS EMOTIONAL!" Franky blurts out. "WAHH! THAT WAS SADDENING! THEY MUST HAVE BEEN SUCH GOOD CREW MATES!" Chopper cries out. "YEA! I FEEL BAD!" Usopp screams, as he and Chopper hug each other.
Then, looking over to Luffy, he's sleeping. "Oh, Luffy-san is... sleeping. I think he slept throughout the whole story." Ren says calmly.
Just then, Luffy wakes up. "Hm? What happened? So you said you met Ace and then what? Wait- YOU MET ACE?!"
"Yea, I did! Why? Do you know him?" Ren asks confusingly.
"He's my brother! Hehe!" "I didn't know he had a brother! I thought of him as an only child and thought of him as my own brother." "Well yeah, he is kinda funny!" "Say, where is he?"
As Ren asks the question, everyone went silent. "What? I can't ask the question?" Her smile turns into a slanted look.
Everyone turns into saddened faces as she looked at everyone. "Hey? What happened? Did I do something wrong..?" Ren gets confused as many faces turned away.
There was just silence on the deck. Everyone stayed quiet. Until..
".....He's gone."
