you find jenna unconscious in the middle of the night.

You sighed to yourself, waiting for the red light to turn green as rain poured on your car.

You were finally driving home, as it was 2am and you had just finished your shift not too long ago. It was raining heavily, but you actually found some peace in the sound of the water hitting your windshield. Glancing at your phone again and noticing you still had no news from your girlfriend, you bit your cheek nervously to try and shrug the weird feeling you were getting. You tapped the steering wheel impatiently for at least another minute until finally the light turned green and you hit the gas.

You and Jenna had been together for a few months now. The love of your life, was the best way to describe her. Things were going amazing between the two of you, but with her often being away for projects, you both decided to keep your separate apartments to make it easier for now. Without fault, you would both wish each other a great sleep and sweet dreams through either a text or a call, if you weren't physically together.

Except for tonight.

Jenna hasn't responded back to your good night text and you were getting quite worried. It had never happened before. There was no way she was still awake at this time, so not getting any news from her was making you feel really uneasy.

You pulled over on the side of the street you were currently driving on and grabbed your phone. You figured that calling her was probably the best thing to do in this moment, to make sure she was alright. You pressed her contact name and waited as the line rang.

The street was pretty much empty, except from a few random cars parked outside their driveways. It was extremely dark, the storm making it hard to properly see anything.

"Hello, you have reached Jenna Ortega's voicemail. May you leave a message and I will call you back as soon as I possibly can." your girlfriend's voice came on, followed by a loud 'beep' sound. You frowned and pulled away to return on the road, hanging up and pressing her contact name again.

It was extremely odd for her to not pick up your call, especially that you knew you were the only contact she allowed notifications through. Turning right at a stop sign, you drove your way up your girlfriend's street, deciding to stop by and see if everything was fine. You pulled up to her apartment complex after only a few minutes, probably driving over the speed limit a little bit without noticing.

You parked your car next to hers and grabbed your phone and the spare key to the building. At least you knew she was safe here, which reassured you slightly as you made your way inside and up the stairs to her door, unlocking it. You stepped into the darkness of her place and closed the door behind you. The apartment looked overall messier than usual, which you found weird.

You walked to her bedroom, opening the door slowly to not wake her. A small smile appeared on your face as you made your way to her bed, expecting her to be laying there, peacefully asleep.

Except she wasn't.

"Babe?" you called out, frowning as you looked around the room. You noticed some light coming from the bathroom, yet the door was closed. You started to worry a little more as you weren't getting any answers back from her.

"Jen?" you called again, standing up quickly this time. You walked to the door and knocked softly, "Are you in there?" you asked hopefully.
